I had a most enjoyable day judging the CTA Open Show at Peopleton and thank exhibitors for their entries. My principal winners were: BIS Ward’s Vanajam Hokcus Pokcus; RBIS/BOS Hooton, Shorter & Nuttall’s Penticharm Prince Charming and BPIS: Bradshaw’s Newfield Heather Magic
Veteran Dog or Bitch (4:1 abs)
1 Ward’s Ch Vanajam Visionary. (BV). A 7½ yrs grey brindle b, well balanced with a feminine head, level top line, well set tail, good front and rear movement. Shown in a good coat.
2 Dolan’s Glenrood Magic Pipit. 7 yr wheaten b, nicely balanced and presented in a quality jacket. Moved and showed well.
3 Osborne’s Tweslam Charlie’s Angel
1 Parker-Tucker’s Uniquecottage Sooty Bear. 8 mths red brindle very showy youngster who moved well, well balanced, an overall nice dog.
2 Weinberger’s Correnie Mister Bo-Jangles. Nicely balanced 6 mth red brindle baby who moved well for age
3 Peers’ Tweedisle Piper Boy
Puppy Dog (6:2 abs)
1 Harrison & Inett’s Wyeafon Pure Fiction at Carradine (BPD) A nicely put together 10 mths masculine headed red brindle, with good reach of neck, correct shoulders. In good coat, moved well.
2 Parker-Tucker’s Uniquecottage Ring Plover. An 11 mth, showy wheaten d with a good head, well made front good top line and tail set.
3 Shannon & Storr’s Brenndarcy Spellbinder
Junior Dog (3:2 abs)
1 Peers’ Tweedisle Sweet Talking Guy. Nice head with a good reach of neck into correct shoulders, level top line. Moved and showed well, in good coat.
Maiden Dog (2:1 abs)
1 Ough’s Ocedar Sundance. A 9 mth wheaten youngster with a good head, keen expression, and good front angulation.
Novice Dog (4:1 abs)
1 Parker-Tucker’s Uniquecottage Ring Plover.
2 Warne’s Royal Silver. Wheaten brindle with typical dark points, level top line good tail set, moved well
3 Saich’s Lindcoly Just Bud
Post Graduate Dog (7:2 abs)
1 Hooton, Shorter & Nuttall’s Penticharm Prince Charming (BD) a very smart d, very good head and expression, good reach of neck, well laid shoulders into a level top line, correct tail set and good rear angulation, carried himself well, a good show man.
2 Saich’s Hector of the Glen. A nicely headed red in good coat, with good front and rear quarters. Showed well.
3 Warne’s Royal Silver
Limit Dog (3:1 abs)
1 Ehrneberg’s Carradine Master Tigger (RBD) masculine head with a good expression, nice length of neck, good shoulder angulation, level top line and correct tail set, strong rear quarters. In good overall condition.
2 Parker-Tucker’s Uniquecottage Chipmunk a showy well balanced grey brindle with good front and rear angulation, level top line and correct tail set. In good coat.

Special Beginner’s Dog (2:0abs)
1 Warne’s Royal Silver.
2 Ough’s Ocedar Zephyr . Cream d, neat ears and a nice expression, moved ok
Minor Puppy Bitch (12:0 abs)
1 Dolan’s Glenrood Cascade. (RBPIS) 7 mth, v showy cream of lovely type, with a nice expression, good front and rear quarters, moved steadily.
2 Petts & Jenning’s Doonrae Gold Digger. 7 mths youngster with a keen expression, well made front and rear quarters, level top line.
3 Parker-Tucker’s Uniquecottage Goldilocks
Puppy Bitch (8:2 abs)
1 Bradshaw’s Newfield Heather Magic (BPIS) A 10 mths red brindle youngster with a feminine head, keen expression, good front and rear quarters, level top line correct tail set, showed well.
2 Weinberger’s Correnie Rosie Glow 11 mths showy wheaten, nice shape, correct shoulder placement, good top line well carried tail.
3 Saich’s Lindcoly Shines Like a Star
Junior Bitch (6:4 abs)
1 Felters & Rumens’ Landbuck Heidi Claire (RBB) nicely balanced red in good coat, feminine head, liked her expression. A very sound mover with good front and rear quarters.
2 Tutching’s Crowneast Miss Dynamite grey brindle of a nice size, pleasing head, good reach of neck. Correct top line and tail set, drove from the rear.
Maiden Bitch (3:1 abs)
1 Parker-Tucker’s Uniquecottage Goldilocks. 3rd in MPB a pleasing youngster good front and rear conformation. Shown in a full jacket, showed well.
2 Saich’s Lindcoly She’s Just Trouble a happy 11 mth bitch, balanced with a nice head, correct eye placement and neat ears. A steady mover.
Novice Bitch (6:1 abs)
1 Osborne’s Tweslam Amber Nectar a well balanced red, good head with good ear placement, correct tail set, well let down hocks, in good coat.
2 Roberts’ Cannwood Camilla an expressive bitch with good shoulder placement and strong rear quarters, shown in a good coat.
3 Dolan’s Glenrood Mateus Rose
Post Graduate Bitch (11:3 abs)
1 Osborne’s Tweslam Izzy Wizzy Get Bizzy, red in good coat, good front and rear angulation, moved well.
2 Tutching’s Crowneast Sugar Babe, wheaten with a nice head and expression in good coat, a steady mover who showed well.
3 Weinberger’s Correnie Irresistable
Limit Bitch (6:2abs)
1 Osborne’s Tweslam Kalamazoo red brindle, pleasing head with typical dark points, nice make and shape, moved well, presented in a tight jacket
2 Dolan’s Glenrood Dusty Pipit a well balanced grey brindle b nice head and expression. A sound mover in good coat.
3 Peers’ Tweedisle Smitten by Gold
Open Bitch (4:3 abs)
1 Ward’s Vanajam Hokcus Pokcus (BIS) Eyecatching cream who was nicely balanced and presented a nice picture. Excellent feminine head, reach of neck and top line. Correct conformation front and rear, v good gait, presented in a quality double jacket.
Special Beginner’s Bitch (4:2 abs)
1 Soper’s Glenmear Michelle at Elitecharm spooked in an earlier class but showed with more confidence this time around. Good eye and ear placement, nice bend of stifle correct tail set, showed well.
2 Purvis’ Mosspur Solitair Dot wheaten with dark points, feminine head nice expression in good coat.
