Mrs
Bessie Dewhurst passed away peacefully on Thursday the 30th April
2009 at her local 'community hospital' aged 84 yrs. She had
not been well since February and had been hospitalised since that date after
suffering a stroke. Bessie
was the Secretary/Treasurer of the C.T.A. for 21 years retiring from this
post in 1993. She was always ably supported by her husband Jack,
who pre deceased her and together they bred Cairn Terriers under the prefix
of Seiyun. Bessie's
funeral is to take place at 1.40pm on Friday 15th May 2009 at Burnley
Crematorium, Accrington Road, Burnley, BB11 5QD and afterwards at Whalley
Abbey, Clitheroe (details on the day). Family flowers only. Donations may be made direct
to the Cairn Terrier Relief Fund or to the Motor Neurone Disease
