Our Judge Mr David
Winsley I have been involved with
pedigree dogs for more than 50 years, and in particular Terriers for 45 plus
years. Over the years I have been fortunate to learn from some of the best
dog breeders about various breeds not just terriers, also there have been a
number of people in my life teaching me about dogs. I judge the Terrier Group at Championship Shows and am currently
approved to award Challenge Certificates in 8 breeds. I judge all Terrier
breeds at Open and Limited Shows. My first CC was won in 1981 with my homebred bitch Davmar Wattagem,
she won her first CC under Bunty Proudlock at the CTA show held then in
Malvern. Since then I have made up and bred a number of Champions in the
breed both at home and abroad, I have also made up numerous champions in
Sealyhams. I have been an Officer and Committee member of both Cairn &
Sealyham clubs over the years. I am also an evaluator for Cairn Terriers
& Sealyham Terriers. Over the years I have judged the breed in many
countries around the world. As a founder member of the MCTC it is an honour to be invited to judge
this show. It is always a privilege
to judge the breed, but much more special when its a Club Show. David Winsley |
