Morning Show

Afternoon Show

Our Judge; George Tullis (Drumsheugh)

I bought my first Westie in 1990 and liked the breed so much that we bought another which was good enough to show.  That was the start of it, hooked!

Since then I have shown at all levels, I’ve judged them (I award CC’s in Westies), and other terrier breeds all over the United Kingdom.

My personal favourites are the Native Scottish Breeds, it’s something about the cheeky nature of terriers that endears them to me.

I am Secretary of the West Highland White Terrier Club and a serving committee member of the Terrier Club of Scotland

Our Judge; Amanda Davey (Beranburh)

To say I was born into a family that had Cairns wouldn’t be an understatement. Cairns have been constant members of our family since 1900 if not earlier. It started with my Great Grandmother and now 6 generations on, their still a part of our family.

In the early days, the Cairns were all from working stock, my mother bred a few litters during the 60’ & 70’s then I took over in the 80’s.

I started showing Cairns in 1982 with my first show cairn, Tidy Penny Dancer of Azimuth, she was by Rossarden Heron. Penny was my 18th birthday present as I had recently lost Judy, my childhood partner in crime at the age of 15.

I was taken under the wing of the late Charlie Dixon from the Rossarden kennels after that first show, and she soon became my mentor and great friend. I started judging dogs in the late 80’s as well as my other love horses.

I also sing with the Military Wives Choirs and have recorded 3 albums with them and appeared in the Military Wives film. In 2016 I sang with the choir in Carnegie Hall in New York and on the flight deck of USS Intrepid.

I’m currently in rehearsing for the Military Wives Choirs 10th anniversary Concert Tour and will be singing at Sandringham for The Queen as part of Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
