Border Union Ch. Show.   Cairn Terriers.    14 June 2003

Minor Puppy dog.  (4)

1.  Shannon & Storr's Brenndarcy Mickey Finn.  Wheaten.  Well made.  Pleasing head.  Good in neck and shoulders.  Level Topline.  Moved alright for age but needs some training.

2.  Firth & Jones' Cairngold Conman.    Slightly longer in back than 1 but enough length of leg to provide a balanced outline.  Typical head and expression.  Needs to tighten up on movement.

3.  Stephinson's Twohoots Allsaints Arthur.  Red.  Good outline, pleasing head with good neck and shoulder. Moved well.

Junior Dog  (4, 1)

1.  Berrecloth's Sysbter Sophora.  Grey brindle.  Smart with true Cairn expression.  Good length of neck and level topline.  Good coat.  Covered the ground well.

2.  Parker Tucker's Uniquecottage Rusty Leaf.  Wheaten.  Good outline, attractive head.  Correct shape ribs with nice length of back.  Did not co-operate with handler.

3.  Peers' Tweedisle Chasing Vikings.  Red.  Pleasing head. Well balanced.  Good coat.  Movement not at its best today.

Novice Dog.  (1)

1. Miller's Cornton Roag.  Nice size, head and neck.  Plenty of coat.  Good length of back and leg.  Moved steadily.

Post Graduate.  (5)

2.  Sharp's Doonrae Dragoon.  Red brindle.  Good outline.  Nice length of back but would have preferred a little more length of leg.  Correct shape rib cage, good turn of stifle.  Pleasing head and neck line.  Preferred movement of 1.

3.  Treglown's Brenndarcy Dangermouse.  Light grey brindle.  Attractive head, good length of hack and leg.  Another one at odds with his handler.
