The Cairn
Terrier Association held a ch show at Nantwich which was a new venue for us.
The show had drawn a very good entry. Thanks for the excellent entry & also
last, but not least, to the Cairns, as they are the show.
At the moment
the strength of the breed is in the bitches, there are many very high quality
Cairn bitches. Where are the dogs? We have some lovely dogs but more good young
dogs are needed to balance the ratio.
Movement is slightly better but eyes are not, I found some very
round shaped eyes, some too large, this is wrong in a Cairn. Coats are another
bone of contention, some kept too short with over trimming, a good correct coat
is part of the glory of the Cairn.
BIS was
