Chris Graingers’ Big 60
I had an enjoyable day judging. Many thanks to my stewards for making it so
easy to concentrate on the dogs.
exhibits presented in correct coat. A
few level bites and teeth out of line.
Some of the movement front and rear left a lot to be desired. This was not helped by the rather overlong
grass. My winners were all good Cairns
and many others could have taken their places.
- Gill’s Copseleaze Red
Skies. Well constructed red
brindle. Good head with correct
eye and ear set. Moved with
confidence. Showed promise.
- Keeve’s Seveek It’s a Gift.
Lighter red brindle than 1.
Movement rather erratic today but needs time to mature.
- Firth’s Cairngold
Cosmonaut. Very promising young
dog who moved with ease. Lovely
head, good shoulders giving correct lines. Moved well. Considered for RCC.
- Thompson’s Castletine
Jackard. Looked good standing but movement let him down. Had a good double coat.
- Goldfinch’s Anjofra Hobbs
among Kanawa. Good red dog who
moved with confidence. Pleasing
outline came from good confirmation. Good double coat.
- 2. Kippen’s Chezaku Helmsman.
A pleasing brindle dog who was lacking confidence today. There was a lot to like about him so
hope his confidence increases.
