 BOURNEMOUTH  CHAMPIONSHIP  SHOW

CAIRN  TERRIERS.

I had an enjoyable day judging.  Many thanks to my stewards for making it so easy to concentrate on the dogs.

Most exhibits presented in correct coat.  A few level bites and teeth out of line.  Some of the movement front and rear left a lot to be desired.  This was not helped by the rather overlong grass.  My winners were all good Cairns and many others could have taken their places.

MPD. 1. Absent.

PD. 2.

  1. Gill’s Copseleaze Red Skies.  Well constructed red brindle.  Good head with correct eye and ear set.  Moved with confidence.  Showed promise.
  2. Keeve’s Seveek It’s a Gift. Lighter red brindle than 1.  Movement rather erratic today but needs time to mature.

JD. 2

  1. Firth’s Cairngold Cosmonaut.  Very promising young dog who moved with ease.  Lovely head, good shoulders giving correct lines.  Moved well. Considered for RCC.
  2. Thompson’s Castletine Jackard. Looked good standing but movement let him down.  Had a good double coat.

ND. 2

  1. Goldfinch’s Anjofra Hobbs among Kanawa.  Good red dog who moved with confidence.  Pleasing outline came from good confirmation. Good double coat.
  2. 2. Kippen’s Chezaku Helmsman. A pleasing brindle dog who was lacking confidence today.  There was a lot to like about him so hope his confidence increases.

GD.4 1 Abs

  1. Ehenberg’s Carradine Master Tigger. Handled by his breeder.  Lovely upstanding grey brindle.  Excellent construction gave sound movement.  Good head with correct eye and ear placement.  Lot to say for himself. Res. CC.
  2. Kellehers Sundance handled by Waugh.  Rather wayward young man.  Well made light red.  Good eye.  Dark muzzle.  Needs to settle.
  3. Kippen’s Chezaku Helmsman.

PGD 6

1.Robert’s Cannwood Red Comet.  Nice well made red dog with super coat who moved well.  Pleasing outline with good tailset.

  1. Brown’s Cruzo Gold Charmer. Lighter red dog with all the essentials.  His good body gave good movement.
  2. 3. Gill’s Copseleaze Light Skies.

LD.4

  1. Harrison and Inett’s Hydecastle Flic-Flac for Carradine (Imp).  Pleasing red dog.  Correct in all departments.  Good tail set and coat.  Moved well.
