Our Thanks To Alison Wragg For Pictures

This was my first Championship show appointment and I thank the exhibitors for a quality entry. Apart from the young dog classes which were sparse, one was spoilt for choice, with mainly good dogs, beautifully presented and handled.
1 Braybrook’s Cloverbrook Precious Cargo, dark brindle, in good coat. Showed well, correct masculine head and bite. Has time to come up a touch in height to complete the picture.
2 Parker-Tucker’s Uniquecottage Goldfinch. Rangy balanced red in excellent coat, moved positively.
1 Keeves’ Seveek It’s a Gift, light red brindle, correct coat not at its best. Lovely head, good eye. Balanced young dog, top line needs to strengthen and front movement tighten.
1 Thompson’s Castleline Jackard, cream wheaten with dark points in very good coat. A well balanced dog with beautiful head, dark eye, good bite. Covered the ground well but not moving true today.
1 Goldfinch’s Anjofra Hobbs Among Kanawha, 13 month upstanding light red masculine dog with a good coat coming, Strong head, good stop, eye and correct bite. Well let down hocks so he drove when moving but carrying weight on his shoulders.
1 Chambers and Thomas’ Cairngrove Red Rascal, confident light red with a wicked cairn expression, showed well.
2 Kelleher’s Sundance, cream, well put together with a good reach of neck and all the essentials but needs to body and tighten up. Not easy to handle.
1 Smith’s Rocasovale Good Luck Charm, most attractive mature 20month old. Dark brindle, up to size but well balanced with good Cairny head, reach of neck flowing into level top line. Moved and showed well to win RCC.
2 Peers’ Tweedisle My Special Man, light brindle with dark head, presented well in good double coat. Has all the essentials and moved well fore and aft but the heat got him and he didn’t show all out.
3 Birch’s Kinkim Kemul
1 Berrecloth’s Sybster Spring Time, dark grey brindle in very good coat, presented and shown to advantage. Good head, dark eye. Well constructed, good spring of rib, a balanced dog who moved well.
3 Harrison and Inett’s Hydecastle Flic-Flac for Carradine.
1 Middlehurst’s Ch Cannwood As If By Magic To Starveren, light grey brindle, an outstanding beautiful dog who drew your eye to him. He excels in everyway to fit the breed standard but remains unexaggerated. His presentation and handling also showed him to advantage to win this quality class. DCC
3 Templeton’s Larchlea If Looks Could Kill
1 Thomas’ Tycadno Wishing on a Star, light cream brindle, extrovert puppy. In double coat, well constructed, sweet head, stop, correct eye, ear set and bite. Very promising. BP
2 Tumbull’s Bedrule Talja, light red, another well balanced but larger pup. Has all the essentials but behaving badly today.
3 Osbom’s Tweslam Amber Nectar
1 Soper’s Glenmear Michelle, Up to size but feminine 11 month grey brindle. Not in good coat but well made. Won with steady movement
2 Bambridge’s Carradine Creme Brulee for Luvemal, showy red brindle, typical pleasing head and outline. So enthusiastic it made her movement appear loose.
3 Philips’ Jaeva en Vouge
JB 6 2abs
1 Catto’s Birselaw It’s my Moment. Most attractive grey brindle, gorgeous head, well balanced, good bone, feet, and spring of rib. In really good body condition and moving soundly. RCC
2 Dolan’s Glenrood Loadsa Magic. 13 month cream with dark points. Well made with a good outline. Correct coat coming through. Moved freely and showed well.
3 Butterfield’s Camasmor Credence
1 Parker-Tucker’s Uniquecottage Gold Tara. Lively, showy red brindle in good double coat. Lovely head and expression, correct mouth, good reach of neck, moving well back and front.
1 Templeton’s Larchlea Remember Remember, beautiful dark brindle, good sized, presented in double coat and hard condition. Moving effortlessly and showing well.
2 Dolan’s Glenrood Dusty Pipit. Grey brindle with dark points. Well constructed and balanced. Feminine head and Caimy expression. Showed and moved with drive.
3 Weinberger’s Correnie Felicia.
1 Weinberger’s Correnie Irresitible. Beautifully headed grey brindle with dark points, good reach of neck and balanced throughout. Moved true, showing well but didn’t pull out the stops.
2 Mosely’s Spawyche Elizabethan Ruby. Light grey brindle with dark points. Very typy, showy charmer. Sweet head and expression, neatly put together, in good double coat, moving well.
3 Smith’s Rocasovale All That Jazz.
1 Catto’s Birselaw Special Moment. Lovely grey bitch, well constructed throughout topped by a gorgeous head with dark points. Overall balanced, presented in good body and coat condition. Moved soundly.
2 Dolan’s Glenrood Magic Solitaire, showy attractive dark brindle in good coat. Caimy head and expression with dark points, good reach of neck, topline and tail set. Moved positively.
3 Moseley’s Spawyche Elizabethan Pearl.
OB 7 A quality class.
