City of Birmingham Championship Dog Show

2nd September 2006

Cairn Terriers

I really enjoyed going over our lovely breed, as temperaments were excellent.  I would like to thank the exhibitors for their support, and the stewards for keeping things running smoothly on a bit of a rough day, at least while we were in the ring.  Coats on the whole were good also mouths, with just a couple of level bites.  Some had lovely spring of rib and depth of chest but there were a lot that lacked this important essential. Movement was varied.

Veteran Dog (1)

1st Birch Ch Kimkin Prinzludy

Looking good for 8yrs old, with good harsh coat, good head with real Cairn expression.  Good outline, showed and moved well.

Minor Puppy Dog (1)

1st Peers Tweedisle A Special Magic

Light red baby in good coat, good mouth and eye, nice expression.  Movement loose and not very happy showing

Puppy Dog (1)

1st Peers Tweedisle  Trouble Maker

Good head and neck, body a bit narrow and long. Moved better rear than in front.

Junior Dog (6,1)

1st Shannon Brenndarcy Spellbinder
