The Cairn Terrier Club Championship Show
Alva
22nd April 2006
My thanks must go to The Cairn Terrier Club for inviting me to judge at this their first Spring Championship show. I thoroughly enjoyed my day and thanks also go to the exhibitors for their entry. In the main mouths were ok. Front movement in general was good but, rear movement still needs to improve as too many move far too close and without drive. Heads in some cases are not typical. The stop is not well defined and the eyes are closer and bolder giving the incorrect expression. A lack of furnishings also detracted from the overall look. The majority of coats were good and of the correct texture.
