CAIRN TERRIERS
Many thanks to all the exhibitors for such a good entry at this long awaited appointment.
Having judged the breed for over 25 years, been a keen fancier of their cousins (WHW) for 35 years, (studying Cairns throughout this period and very intensely with the help of the late Mrs Doreen ‘Bunty’ Proudlock, when writing the book ‘West Highland White Terriers’), it was a long awaited and eagerly anticipated first CC appointment. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and, dogs apart, was impressed with the sportsmanship shown during the judging and the comments of satisfaction made to me after it.
I was gratified to note that the breed overall is in a good state which augers well for the future.
