Well done Lynda Hughes, Chris Roberts, Doreen Shorter, my stewards Peter & Jane and all the committee for running such a wonderful show, under so much pressure.

My thanks to all exhibitors for a super quality entry, our breed overall is in great shape, and I feel so proud. All lovely Cairns but my top winners were outstanding!!

 

Class: 1 ~ MINOR PUPPY DOG (5,2a)

 1^st – Moseley & Inett’s Spawyche Elizabethan Onyx. 6 month old upstanding, confident wheaten boy. Sound as a bell, good head, excellent outline, neck, shoulders, topline all correct. Moved with purpose, beautifully balanced, just gave way to B.D.P. on maturity. Will follow him with interest,

 2^nd  - Firth & Jones’ Cairngold Cut To The Chase. 8month outgoing showman. Dark Brindle, well made, covered the ground with ease, beautiful typy head.

3^rd  - Newton’s Strathinver Such A Star (Naf) 

 

Class: 2 ~ Puppy Dog (8,2a)

1^st - Rhead’s Copseleaze Hesterwoodboy. Best male puppy I have seen in a long time. He took my breath away. Glorious head & expression, wonderful mouth, lovely flowing outline, beautifully balanced, moved with great ease & verve. Was pleased to award him B.P.I.S. will watch his progress with interest.

2^nd  - Ward’s Vanajam Pop Idol. Eyecatching 9 month old wheaten. Smart showman, good outline & balance, sound mover.

3^rd - Peer’s  Tweedisle Guy Mannering

 

Class 3 – Junior Dog

1^st Smiths Rocasovale Razzle Dazzle. What a handful! He made me chuckle, typical Cairn nicely balanced, well constructed, moved freely, holding a good outline, lovely head and expression

2^nd Smee’s Malmay King Of The Road. Smart showman moved freely, beautiful head, needs more coat to complete picture.

3^rd. Short’s Glenchess All In The Stars

 

Class: 4 ~ Maiden Dog (6,3a)

1^st - Dolan’s Glenrood Ice Man. Wheaten in good coat and condition, upstanding showman, nice outline & balance. Very good mover.

2^nd  - Newton’s   Strathinver Such A Star (Naf). Good masculine head, well balanced, moved well short of coat.

 3^rd  - Fairweather’s Ock Little Tinker

 

Class: 5 ~ Novice Dog ~ No Entries

 

Class: 6 ~ Undergraduate Dog ~ (3)

1^st  - Waugh’s   Tribannon Warlord. Lot to like about this well balanced typy Dark Brindle. Beautiful head & expression, good neck & shoulders, excellent mover.

2^nd – Peers’    Tweedisle That Special Son. Wheaten good length of back, nice balance. Sound mover.

3^rd - Ough’s   Ocedar Zephyr

 

Class: 7 ~ Graduate Dog (8)

1^st - Middlehurst’s Zalazar Un Zipped! At Starveren (Imp).  Eyecatching bright red showman, well put together, neck, shoulders, topline correct. Covered the ground with ease.

2^nd  - Barclay & Wingate’s Bikachyx Silver Dragster. Upstanding wheaten, firm topline, good head & expression, moved freely.

3^rd - Peers’ Tweedisle Guy Mannering

 

Class: 8 ~ Post Graduate Dog (6,1a)

1^st - Percy’s Winetta Jimmy Mack. Mister Macho! And didn’t everyone know he had arrived!! Lovely dark Silver Brindle, nothing but a Cairn. Fabulous head, excellent outline, flowing movement, in good coat & condition, hope he gets to the top.

 2^nd Barclay & Wingate’s - Bikachyx All In Leather. Wheaten good length of back, good showman, easy mover.

 3^rd  - Birch’s Kinkim Kernul

 

Class: 9 ~ Limit Dog (11,1a)

1^st  - Brown’s  Cruzo Gold Charmer. Quality Wheaten with beautiful head, well constructed, best of toplines & tailset covers the ground on the move. Considered for R.C.C. would like a bit more sparkle.

2^nd  - Shopland’s Cherrycrack Mack The Knife. Lovely typy dog with super head & expression, well balanced masculine who covered the ground with ease.

3^rd  - Catto’s    Birselaw Daydream Believer

 

Class: 10 ~ Open Dog (5)

1^st  - Hooton & Thomas’ Ch Rasken's Romping Playboy. Outstanding Bridle Male, oozing type, every inch what I would expect of a Champion Dog. Put down to perfection, mouth watering head & expression best of neck & shoulders, topline, tailset all bang on. Covered the ground with great ease & verve holding his wonderful outline on the move. Delighted to award him C.C. & B.I.S.

2^nd  -Hooton’s Ch Penticharm Party Knight. Another super male, how lucky am I! Light red in great coat & condition. Smashing head, super outline & balance. Reached out and covered the ground on the move. R.C.C.

3^rd - Peers’ Tweedisle Sweet Talking Guy

 

Class: 11 ~ Special Beginners Dog (5,2a)

1^st  - Davey’s  Castleline Game Spirit At Beranburh, Typical Cairn, good mover, lovely head.

2^nd Ough’s - Ocedar Zephyr. Nice headed red, good showman, easy mover.

3^rd  - Purvis’ Mosspur Licensed To Thrill

 

Class: 12 ~ Veteran Dog Or Bitch (10,1a)

1^st  - Parker- Tucker’s Uniquecottage Oyster Catcher. 11yr old red dog in fantastic coat & condition, moved like a dream holding a brilliant topline o the move, could show the youngsters a thing or two.

2^nd  - Oldale’s Ch Tweslam Abracadabra. 9 year old busy madam with a lift in her step, typy head, lovely outline, very eyecatching.

3^rd  - Inett & Heidecker’s  Ch, Ger & Aut Ch. Carradine Toblerone

 

Class: 13 ~ Minor Puppy Bitch (8,3a)

1^st  - Pett’s Cairngold Gunning For Gold With Doonrae. Well grown 8month old wheaten, lovely head, flowing outline, excellent mover, well balanced puppy.

2^nd  - Inetts’ Carradine Between Friends. 6month old Dark brindle typy puppy very smart and confident

3^rd  - Mimora Mona

 

Class: 14 ~ Puppy Bitch (5)

1^st  - Shaw’s Honeyhall Hide N’ Seek. Stunning headed wheaten, loved her balance and make and shape, holding super outline on the move. B.B.P.

2^nd  -Chambers’ Cairngrove Clever Clogs. 7month old dark brindle giving away a lot in age in this class, but a quality baby, with super neck & shoulders, lovely outline & balance, liked her a lot.

3^rd  - Peers’ Tweedisle Dolly Daydreamer

 

Class: 15 ~ Junior Bitch (12,2a)

1^st  -Smee’s Malmay Sky's The Limit. Classy appealing typy silver brindle, with lovely head and expression. Upper outline, very good mover, showed well, considered for R.C.C.

2^nd  - Inett’s Curtisey Foreign Account With Carradine. Wheaten brindle, great showgirl moved well.

3^rd – Firth & Jones’ Cairngold Avin A Paddy

 

Class: 16 ~ Maiden Bitch ~ (3)

1^st  - Parker-Tucker’s Uniquecottage Guillemot. Smart wheaten brindle, good topline, well balanced, fgr4eqat mover, happy showgirl.

2^nd Davey’s - Beranburh Tigress. Extrovert, balanced, nice outline.

3^rd  - Cranes’ Mimora Gallyon

 

Class:  17 ~ Novice Bitch (7,2a)

1^st  -Parker-Tucker’s Uniquecottage Speciosa. Upstanding red girl, excellent mover, showed well.

2^nd  - Waugh’s Tribannon Arabella. Typy silver brindle, lovely head and expression, moved well.

3^rd  - Firth & Jones’ Cairngold Candlelight

 

Class: 18 ~ Undergraduate Bitch (3)

 1^st  - Dolan’s Glenrood Forever Topps. Very appealing feminine wheaten, beautiful head, lovely outline & balance. Excellent sound free mover.

2^nd  -Brown’s Bencana Tickle Pink. Wheaten, good neck & shoulders & balance, outgoing showgirl.

3^rd  - Ough’s Ocedar Look At Me

 

Class: 19 ~ Graduate Bitch (10,1a)

1^st  - Shaw’s Honeyhall Headstrong. Outstanding, typy feminine bitch, fabulous outline well balanced, free & easy mover, stunning head, loved her.

2^nd  -Dolan’s Glenrood Forever Popsy. Another quality bitch, with beautiful head, lovely balance and outline, moved correctly front and back, great showgirl.

3^rd  - Clarke’s Conundrum Sweeter For Me For Lentrica

 

Class: 20 ~ Post Graduate Bitch (15,3a)

1^st  - Robinson’s Cruzo Bannock Belle. Typy feminine dark brindle, lovely make & shape, excellent mover, glorious head.

2^nd  - Oldale’s Cranae New Dawn. Balanced red in good coat & condition, flowing outline, easy mover.

3^rd  -Waugh’s Rivercottage Sandy’s Legend

 

Class:  21 ~ Limit Bitch (7,3a)

1^st  - Robinson’s Cruzo Cinderella. She will go to the ball! Very appealing dark brindle with pretty typical head and expression. Liked her balance and outline, which she held so well on the move, pleased to award her the R.C.C.

2^nd  - Shannon, Storr & Culliford’s  Brenndarcy Be Bop Deluxe. Lovely make & shape, easy mover, good neck & shoulders, length of back. Beautiful head & expression.

3^rd  - Carradine Magic Star

 

Class: 22 ~ Open Bitch (9,6a)

1^st  - Templeton’s Ch Larchlea Knot To Be Mist. How could you miss her? Long admired from the ringside. Outstanding feminine dark brindle with stunning head & expression. She’s so elegant with that flowing neck & shoulders, giving her a super outline, perfectly balanced. Moved with great ease, delighted to award her the C.C. and R.B.I.S.

2^nd  -Waugh’s Razzle Dazzle Glory At Tribannon. Lovely make & shape, good length of back, excellent mover. Super head & expression, good balance.

3^rd  -   Osborn’s Tweslam Izzy Wizzy Get Bizzy
