South Wales Kennel Association Championship Show
6th July 2007
Judge: Mrs Sue Braybrook
Sincere thanks to the officers and committee of the South Wales Kennel Association for all their hard work in making sure that the show went ahead despite of horrendous weather conditions. Thank you also to all exhibitors for persevering under such difficult circumstances to reach the show.
Overall the quality of the entry was good. I only found one or two incorrect mouths. I was particularly pleased to be able to go over some outstanding youngsters, which bodes well for the future of the breed.
BCC and BOB Mrs J.Poile's Kedvaiy Can Can. A top quality eye catching bitch with a femine head and expression, good mouth and eye. Neck flowing into correctly angulated shoulders, soundly constructed throughout and in excellent coat and condition. Expertly presented with superb ring presence. It was a pleasure to award her B.O.B.
RBCC Mrs P.Clarke's Conundrum Sweeter for Me for Lentricia. Dark brindle bitch with super head and expression. Good reach of neck. Nicely balanced throughout with good topline and tailset. Shown in correct coat. An outstanding show girl for one so young. Delighted to award her the RCC
DCC Miss B. and Mr D. Shannon and Storr's Brenndarcy Spellbinder. Quality wheaten cairn with excellent conformation throughout. Good head, mouth and eye. In lovely coat and condition. Covered the ground well. Pleased to award him his first CC.
RDCC Mr A. and Mrs L. and Miss A.M and Mrs G. Firth and Jones' Cairngold Jackpot. Well presented wheaten with pleasing head and expression and good mouth. Moved freely. Showed well to earn the RDCC.
BP Mrs S.E and Miss D.H Dolan and Inett's Glenrood Ice Man. Wheaten dog with good head, expression and correct mouth. In good coat and condition. Moved with confidence. Presented and handled very well.
