Youngest Exhibitors Not For Competition

(Freddie Lifton’s 1st Show!)

Bournemouth Canine Association – 10th August 2008 - Cairn Terriers

I feel that we are in danger of losing the typical Cairn head that so defines our breed. Muzzles are tending to be longer and eyes are in some cases too round and bold giving the wrong expression.

Mouths in some cases just make the scissor bite and teeth are not straight.

I was very pleased with my main winners and thank the exhibitors for making the long journey to Bournemouth.

Dog CC – BOB – Thomas & Hooton’s Ch Raskens Romping Playboy – Dark brindle with stunning head, correct mouth, eye and a very good stop. Excellent reach of neck flowing into level topline. Presented in very good coat and condition. Moved with drive at the rear.

Bitch CC – Oldales’s Cranae New Dawn – A red presented in excellent coat and condition. Good head correct mouth, eye and ears. Level topline and well set tail moved well both front and rear. Showed well.
