Cairn Terriers

MPD (1) I Peers'Tweedisle Whisky Mac, h/br, quite mature for age, attractive head, good mouth, nice in outline.good body & rib, level topline, shapely quarters. Little wayward
on the move, needs time.

PD (3,1 a) I Shopland's Cherrycrack Blackadder, showy dark gr/br of almost 10 months, pleasing head, defined stop, correct eye placement. Little short of head furnishings. Good balance, scores well in reach of neck & general forehand, ideal body, depth of ribs & topline for age; 2 Soper's Elitecharm Dream Boy, wh/br, youngster who needs the desired head furnishings to complete the picture, similar remarks apply as for I. Good reach of neck, layback, topline & body lines. Close decision.

JD (3,1) I Firth & Jones' Cairngold Spin Of The Wheel, a lot to like about this young wheaten dog, alert, plenty of type, pleasing well furnished head with desired expression, nicely constructed in body, correct angulation giving good overall balance, level topline & sound quarters, free movement with plenty of drive. Just within JD qualifications; 2 Kippen's Chezaku MasterMinder, wheaten. lost out on maturity & not quite the hind movement of I, needs more time. Good length of leg & back making for good balance. Hope he comes on well.

ND (I) I C Master Minder.

GD (I) I Lifton's Glenrood Stormkeeper at Liflycairn, dark gr/br of nice size & overall balance, in good coat & condition, lovely head & expression, good front & quarters. Decided to do his own thing when asked to move & didn't co-operate with his handler, going around the ring with his nose to the ground.

PGD (3) I Downie &Tate'sJaeva Face The Music, smart dark gr/br dog, exemplifying good type, lovely masculine head which is most typical of the breed, excels in neck, shoulder, conformation & well turned quarters giving free movement with plenty of drive; 2 Lifton's Glenrood Stormkeeper at Liffycairn; 3 Hawkin's Kilnyard Archie Spangles.

LD (I) I Peers' Tweedisle Guy Mannering, dark gr/br, nice head, dark eye, well carried ears, scores in neck, front, depth of ribs & topline, developing well in quarters, good set on, covered the ground with ease. Needs more coat & furnishings to look his best.

OD (3) I Inett & Harrison's Noncom Inett Tu Winnit with Carradine, judged this lovely wh/br only a month ago at East of England awarding him G4.Well furnished masculine head that fits the Standard in detail without any exaggerations, eyecatching in outline, correct shoulder placement, conformation & balance, good tailset & well turned quarters, free, agile & assertive movement. CC & BOB which made him up; 2 Middlehurst's Zaiazar Un Zipped at Starveren, red in prime condition, beautiful well furnished masculine head & lovely true expression, excellent neck & layback of shoulder, level topline, strong hindquarters, very good mover who showed well. To be critical would like him a shade longer in back for better balance, nevertheless top quality exhibit. RCC; 3 Short's Glenchess All In The Stars.

MPB (3) I Osborn's Tweslam Winter Magic, most attractive r/br of almost 7 months, everything coming together nicely on this youngster, totally feminine head, dark eye, correct bite, nice neck & clean shoulders, good front & quarters, good co9C texture, moved & showed well for age; 2 Oldale's Tweslam Dawn Chorus at Cranae (gr/br, liked her head, eye & forehand construction. Just preferred outline & general ballance of I, but still a youngster still has plenty of time to transform with maturity. Moved reasonably

PB (6,2) I Owen's Honeyhall Handful at Caldwall, very smart light gr/br, looking good in profile, lovely for type & balance, very feminine all through, correct development in head, body & rear angulation for age, once settled moved OK. BP; 2 Braybrook's Cloverbrook Xtra Factor, attractive gr/br, a pleasure to go over. most appealing head & expression, straight front, sufficient rib development, strong supple loin & well turned quarters. In between coatsAt first didn't cope at all well with the ground conditions, once she settled then moved fairly well; 3 Soper's Elitecharm Brindled Beauty.

JB (3,1) I Smee's High Class Baby at Malmay, light red, very nice youngster. balanced feminine head, lovely expression, liked her length & balance, straight front, good neck & topline, correct set on & shapely quarters, moved with drive, coat well presented; 2 Dodd's Doddydodah Lady's Snow Girl, light gr/br. attractive head & expression, correct reach of neck & layback of shoulder, good topline. Would prefer a slightly better tailset, not the hind movement of I.

NB(3,1) I Dolan's Glenrood Warrior Princess, gr/br of good type, completely feminine with appealing expression, balances out well with pleasing outline, scores in neck, shoulders & topline, straight front & good quarters. With maturity could do well; 2 Byrne's Little Miss Tonka, wheaten, pleasing feminine head, correct mouth & ear placement, good neck & level topline, nicety proportioned of medium size, showed well. Movement could have been a little more positive.

GB (2) I Dolan's Glenrood MysticTopaz, light gr/br, expressive head, neat ears & dark eye, very feminine, good proportions, nice reach of neck, level topline & pleasing rib, in good coat, moved & showed well oncesettled; 2 Lifton's Glenrood Tanzanite Magic at Liffycairn, very feminine dark gr/br. Pleasing general outline, good spring of rib & turn of stifle, level topline. Not as self assured as I.
PGB (7) I Osborn's Tweslam Serendipity, most feminine wheaten of considerable merit, not long out of junior, exquisite head of correct proportions, defined stop, lovely dark
eye & earset contributing to the desired expression, nicely constructed, clean outline, good rib, topline, rear angulation & hocks, lovely showgirl; 2 Lifton's Anjofra Treacle Tart
at Liflycairn, light red. nice type, lovely temperament, feminine head & expression, correct bite, good bone, level back & tailset, moved fairly well, steady showgirl. Just preferred
head & extrovert showmanship of I; 3 Dodd's Tribannon Fair Lady

LB (3) I Smee's Malmay Sky's The Limit, well presented gr/br, in first class coat & condition, pleasing head, excellent mouth, scores in shoulder placement, balanced outline & rear angulation, moved freely with drive, very showy; 2 Dolan's Glenrood Forever Topps, wheaten, nice for size & balance, typy head, good front, length of neck & clean shoulders, good topline & tailset held her outline on the move. Little between these two; 3 Peers' Tweedisle The Golden Touch.

OB (3) I Robinson's Cruze Bannock Belle, lovely quality feminine head, nice eye & ears. good front, feet & quarters, height to length ratio correct, well placed shoulders, nice
spring & depth of ribs, in very good gr/br coat, sound active mover. CC, well worthy of her crown, hope she doesn't have to wait too long; 2 Firth & Jones' Cairngold Candlelight,
judged this wheaten bitch before at SCTC, ch show & made her my BP. She has certainly fulfilled her early promise, it is hard to fault her conformation, lovely head & expression,
showed & moved really well, many of the same qualities as I. RCC; 3 Castrey's Casmhor Peader's Mianorla.                                             JOHN BUNTING
