A good entry. I found the depth of quality in bitches encouraging. I do hope the lower dog classes will fill up shortly. These are our stud dogs of the future. A number of exhibits had incorrect  mouths, others lacked muscle tone & condition.

MPD 2

1. Bain's Carradine Causin' A Riot At Scotslaw- Clear red in good puppy coat. Balanced outline.Pleasing head & expression. Steady mover. Just a baby.

2. Goldfinch's Kanawha Kaught in a Draught. Another baby with lovely head & expression, good mouth.Coat of correct texture. Movement hard to assess. Needs time.

PD 2

1. Inett's Carradine Crackaway Jack. Mature for age in good coat & condition. Pleasing head & expression, good mouth, balanced outline.Steady showman. Needs to tighten in front.

2. Lamb & Saltmarsh's Birselaw Fable. Up to size with head so typical of this kennel. Good mouth.Correct front assembly, level topline held on move. In need of new jacket. Tail a little proud at times.

JD 5 1abs.

1. Shopland's Cherrycrack Fable. Nicely balanced grey-liked his outline.head & expression. Good mouth with large teeth. Correct neck & shoulders,Moved well fore & aft. Well presented. Considered for RCC. His time will come.

2. Mears's Glenmear Marauder. Another attractive dark male-similar comments apply. Just preferred front action on 1 today.

3. Inett & Heidecker's Hydecastle Norman.

PGD 9 2abs.

1. Wall's Cloverbrook Ray of Sunshine over Shearwater. Balanced red brindle in good order. Coat of correct texture. Level topline held on the move. Steady showman.

2. Firth & Jones's Cairngold Spin of the Wheel. Cream  with good head, dark eye, good mouth. Clean neck & shoulders. Correct front. Another steady shower. Preferred balance of 1.

3. Warne's Spirebrooke Dawn Raider.

LD 8 1abs.

1. Smith's Rocasovale Razzle Dazzle. Haved judged this male twice before & watched him mature. Sound throughout. Good head, stop, mouth. Correct front assembly with strong hindquarters. Level topline & tailset. In short coat of correct texture. RCC.

2. Peers's Tweedisle Guy Mannering. Another sound exhibit with good expression. Good mouth, dark eye, deep stop. Good front & shoulders, level topline, correct tailset. Well presented. Unfortunate to meet 1.

3. Phillips & Tate's Jaeva Face the Music.

OD 6 3abs.

1. Pollock's Larchlea Licence to Thrill at Stanedykes. Gave this quality dog BP last time. He is all male with an excellent head, dark eye, correct mouth. Shown in tip top condition. He covers the ground with drive from behind-a worthy champion. CC

2. Cameron's Ch. Stryveling Robb Ruadh. Another worthy Champion, smaller pattern than 1. An honest dog throughout. Moved well-just felt he lacked that 'spark' today.

3. Saich's Kiataia Masquerade

MPB 9 3abs.

1. Harding's Cannwood Remember Holly. Delightful 7 month cream in good puppy coat. Feminine head & expression with dark points. Good mouth, correct front assembly. Just needs to tighten in topline. Played her handler up on the move but did enought to take BP.

2. Innett's Carradine Come on Irene. Loved the wicked expression on this dark bitch. Liked her balance & general outline. Good jacket. Correct front. Moved & showed well.

3. Felters & Rumens's Landbuck Scrumptious.

PB 5

Litter sisters headed this class & similar comments apply.

1. Osborn's Tweslam Maid by Magic. Quality bitch with lovely balanced outline. Good head, mouth front, neck & shoulders. Moved soundly. In need of a new jacket which cost her BP today.

2. Oldale's Tweslam Dawn Chorus at Cranae. In better coat than her litter sister but another quality bitch. Just preferred tailset of 1.

3. Petts's Doonrae Joie De Vivre.

JB 10 4abs. A good class of youngsters.

1. Templeton's Larchlea Can't Remember. Beautiful bitch with feminine head & expression, correct eye, stop, mouth. Good front, nexk & shoulders, level topline held on the move. Excellent coat  & condition. Handled well. Pushed hard for top honours.

2. Shaw's Honeyhall Halliwell. Light red so typical of this kennel. Feminine head, correct eye, mouth, stop. Good front assembly, firm hindquarters, level topline. Close decision between these 2.

3. Thomas's Tycadno Starlet.

PGB. 17 5 abs. Another strong class where good exhibits went cardless.

1. Shannon & Storr's Brenndarcy Button JW. Balanced cream in good harsh jacket. Correct head & expression. good dentition, deep stop. Correct neck & shoulders, level topline & tailset. Moved & showed steadily-just lost interest in the challenge.

2. Bradshaw's Newfield Dawn Spirit. Have liked this bitch for a while. Does not disappoint on the table. Liked her clean outline & balance. Good head & expression, dark eye, good mouth. Level topline. Correct coat. Moved & showed well.Close decision between these 2 exhibits.

3. Saich's Lindcoly Star Turn.

LB 7 2abs.

1. Robinson's Cruzo Caitlin. Easy winner. So typical of this kennel. Balanced outline. In excellent coat & condition. Lovely head, deep stop, correct mouth. Very Showy. Good hind action.

2. Clarke's Conundrum Sweeter for Me for Lentrica JW.Sh.CM. Smaller pattern with most attractive head & expression. In good order. Well handled. Would prefer more positive front action.

3. Burgin's Noncom Miss Hat he Chewed.

OB  8 1abs. Three lovely bitches headed this class.

1. Short's Glenchess Cut the Mustard. Red of correct balance & outline. Good head, dark eye, deep stop, correct mouth. Correct front assembly & strong hindquarters. Coat of correct texture. Well presented & so in tune with her handler. A joy to watch on the move when she appears to go into overdrive. Delighted to award her the all important 3rd CC & watch her win Group 3.

2. Firth & Jones's Cairngold Candlelight. Another quality red with lovely expressive head, correct dentition, clean neck & shoulders. Good front. Correct coat texture, level topline & tailset. Another who covers the ground well. Res CC
