“A Show Of Hands At Richmond”

Hands, to plea my case!

Hands up; It’s Teachers pet!

How far can I reach!

Restraining hand - Gasp, Gasp!!!

One hand to hide, others to say, No, it’s mine!

Too many hands!

Hand to hide the terror!

As Bill tells of watching “The Mummy’s Hand”

We’ve got hands to steady you!

Hand adjustment!

A helping hand!!!

Delightful bum to nip, but no hands!

Our BOB In The Group

These flowers need watering…………

Mums not watching, so here goes!

 And last but not least

David Turnbulls friends celebrated his ?? Birthday – Without Him!

Cairn Terriers

I enjoyed the day, which was sunny and dry, with a quality entry

I found most Cairns moved better when given time to settle rather than  just the minimum of movement.

The main comment I have is what has happened to the fronts on our breed. The standard calls for standing well forward on forepaws.

This correct construction for a Cairn is sadly lacking in some exhibits, who are straight and  flat in the front lacking forechest and shallow  in depth of brisket . This in turn means lacking spring of rib and a short upper arm. Some were too wide across the shoulders.

Temperaments were excellent and presentation good.

1. Shopland’s Cherrycrack Blackadder Grey Brindle, up to size with a very clean outline , balanced . Coat short but of desired texture. Movement sound and covered ground keeping his topline. Head developing with the correct proportions, wide apart medium sized eye of dark hazel colour. Good scissor bite with large teeth. BEST PUPPY

2. Soper Wheaten Brindle, nice size and balance. Attractive head  with good proportions. Preferred eye and expression of Number one . Large teeth ,correct bite. Quality coat well presented, steady mover.

3. Shannon Brenndarcy Trouble at Mill.

1. Morley Kedvaiy Locomotion  Red, Excellent head, with dark points so desirable always seem to disappear during puppyhood, but have remained in this dog. Very good proportions and kept his outline on the move. Clean shoulders. Showy, Movement true, fore and aft.

2.Kinchin Tyreece's Tricks Red Brindle a heavier build than number one. Nice head and expression, little heavy in shoulder, a good spring of rib and depth of body, moved truly coming and going.

1. Parker Tucker Uniquecottage Raleigh Red Brindle lovely head and expression with dark mask. Moderate throughout. Correct front with spring of rib and layback of shoulder. Front and rear angulation in harmony moved well keeping his topline

2. Inett and Harrison Inett to Winnit with Carradine. All masculine dog with a lovely head and expression .  Moved with drive never putting a foot wrong, would like to see a little less coat down sides as this gives him the effect of a shorter leg and throws balance out. Made correctly with very good angulation.

3. Kinchin Tyreece's Tricks

Has correct front with forechest and depth of brisket Good spring of rib level topline kept on the move and tail set at one o' clock. His head has a good stop and balanced muzzle with dark well set apart eyes, neat ears. To nit pick could be a little longer in back. CC and BOB

2. Pollock Larchlea Licence To Thrill at Stanedykes another all masculine dog with an excellent head and very good expression. Largest of teeth Today he was not so enthusiastic as number one and was moved on a short tight lead which affected his movement. Level topline, well angulated and very good outline.
