I would like to thank all exhibitors for your entries, the
weather was kind to us and I had a very enjoyable day going over your dogs. I
thought that overall the quality was
good, and in some of the bitch classes there were a lot of quality bitches it was sad to have to send them out of the ring cardless, and I am
sure on another day it will be their turn.
Minor
puppy dog (3)
1.
Tutchings Tribannon Gypsy King – A well balanced puppy with a lovely shape. Good
shoulders, topline and tailset. In good
coat apart from lacking furnishings but these will come in time. He has that
typical expression made more attractive with his dark mask and ears, when his
furnishings come he should have a beautiful head. Moved and showed well.
2. Keeve’s Seveek Dare Devil - Nice head and expression. In very
good coat a little short on leg for me and this is where he lost out to 1.
Otherwise a very nice puppy.
3. Soper’s Elitecharm Dream Boy
Puppy Dog
(1)
1 Shannon & Storr’s Brenndarcy Trouble
at Mill - On his own but well
deserving of his place. Another
very nice head with the correct expression and eye colour. Good length of neck into correct shoulders.
Level topline with tailset. In good
coat. Moved well.
Junior Dog (3)
1 Catto’s Birselaw Follow Your Dream -
He took my
eye as he came into the ring and he didn’t disappoint on the table. Beautiful
head with a very wicked expression, good length of neck, excellent coat, very
alert showing really well. He has a lovely free flowing movement. I liked him a
lot and was pleased to award him RCC.
2 Firth’s Cairngold Spin of the Wheel
– Good head and expression, nice length of
neck, correct shoulders, well muscled, moved well.
3 Kinchin’s Tyreece’s Tricks
Post Graduate Dog (6)
1 Downie & Tate’s Jaeva Face the Music – Nicely balanced dog, good head and
expression, well boned. Correct double coat, level topline and good tailset.
Moved and showed well.
2 Mosely’s Spawyce Elizabethan Onyx – This was a very close decision, I liked both these
dogs and the same remarks apply. I just thought that 1 was showing better
today.
3 Felters & Rumen’s Landbuck Colour Code
Limit Dog (5)
1
Templeton’s Larchlea Time to
Entertain You – This
is another one that caught my eye on entering the ring, and again didn’t
disappoint on the table. A lovely head with dark eyes, a true varmint
expression. Well boned, lovely textured coat with correct undercoat. Kept his
topline on the move excellent showman considered him for RCC.
2 Smee’s Malmay King of The Road – Very similar to 1. I thought that 1 just
had that little bit extra all over.
3 Barney’s Alfie Lunar Hopper
Open Dog (5)
1 Pollock’s Ch Larchlea Licence to Thrill – I’ve admired him from the ringside
since he was a puppy, and was delighted to be given the chance to go over him.
He is a lovely dog to look at and fulfilled all my expectations. He has
wonderful bone and muscle tone, a beautiful masculine head on good length of
neck. Correct shoulders, a topline which never falters when he moves, tail in
the correct position. Correct front with good fore-chest, good bend of
stifle. Coat of correct texture with
the necessary soft under coat. A little
bit of a handful at times, but did what was needed at the right time, he is all
Cairn, and for me that’s how Cairn’s should be, delighted to award him CC and
BOB.
2 Innetts’ Nonecom Inett to Winnt with Carradine JW – Good head with dark mask and ears.
Very good double coat. Showed well.
3 Cameron’s Ch Stryveling Robb Ruadh
Minor Puppy Bitch (8)
1 Shaw’s Honeyhall Halliwell – Very showy little girl with lovely feminine head without
losing that wicked expression. Well balanced in excellent coat and condition,
well presented. Moved with very free flowing stride.
2 Templeton’s Larchlea Can’t
Remember – Another very feminine girl, unlucky to meet 1
today as she just had that little bit more spirit.
2 Downie’s Larchlea Come Away With Me –
Puppy Bitch (5)
1 Braybrook’s Cloverbrook Xtra Factor – Lovely little girl with a beautiful head with and a
wicked expression . Well balanced with good bone, good length of neck into
correct shoulders. In good double coat.
I liked her outline very much, she has level topline with correct tailset. A
little bit naughty but showed very well when she wanted to. Pleased to award
her BP and thrilled later to see her take the Terrier Puppy Group.
2 Fyfe’s Andrum Peace Treaty – Very nice puppy a little short on coat but what she had was
good. Nicely balanced , moved and showed well. I look forward to seeing her in
full coat and furnishings.
3 Saich’s Lindcoly Catch Me If You Can
Junior Bitch (13)
This was a class with a lot of
quality bitches and it was a shame that some had to go cardless, I would have
loved to have been able to give more awards.
1 Confue’s Anfofra Welcome to La La Land – Very competent show girl she has a
lovely shape, very femine head with dark ears, correct dark eye giving her that
mischevious expression. Good length of neck, correct topline and tailset. Moved well and presented beautifully.
2 Shannon & Storr’s Brenndarcy
Button It JW – The
above comments apply to her I just thought 1 put more into her showing today.
3 Smee’s High Class Baby at Malmay
Post Graduate Bitch (13)
Another class full of quality
1
Felters and Rumens’ Landbuck Jazz
Hands – I have
liked her since she was a puppy. She has all the qualities that I love in a
bitch. A beautiful head , wicked expression, well balanced with a lovely
outline, well boned with good muscle
tone Correct double coat, well
presented, excellent topline which she kept on the move, and can she move, very
free flowing stride with such drive on the back. Loved everything about her and
was very pleased to award her the CC
2
Chambers & Exton’s Cairngrove
Clever Clogs – Another I have liked from the ringside and she lived
up to my expectations. Lovely head and expression, good length of neck, correct
coat, moved and showed well. Unlucky to come up against 1 today.
