GP Out-Takes

Early morning beautification

Kissing a poorly finger -  better!

Looking into space for aliens!

Dog Tired!

It was so big and so heavy….

The Carradine Crew & their Amazing Dancing Cairn!

The judging! –That’s got me scratching my head

The impossible – catching Jim putting hand in his pocket!

These hands they wash dishes

Just said – Be off with you!

Just got the little beggar into the picture

This is my good ear

I sprinkle chocolate on the top and give a mug to Stuart, the others mine!

Just thought it would go well with the necklace

Looking for the largest Strawberry

A clean pick up – left-handed!

But I still have to hold my hair in place

Ladies day at Ascot – Not at Border Union Dog Show!

Hands and money

Nowadays even cuddles don’t come cheap

CAIRN TERRIER
Since it is some time since I judged the breed, this entry gave me much to think about/There were concerns, but on the whole much pleasure, and I was pleased to see that overall  things were going weli. I was pleased to see that mouths, with one exception, were excellent with large clean sparkling teeth and plenty of width to the jaw to contain them. Anyone who knows me will be aware that I have a 'thing' about mouths - they must be correct. I think this is essentially a part of any terrier and for me comes under the 'fit for function' heading. Coats were of good texture, clean and presentation on the whole very good. Movement, as was expected, varied from excellent to patchy wide fronts and close rears were both evident, As I was a substitute judge, I must thank the exhibitors for accepting me with their usual grace and charm.

PD (3, I) 1 Hydecastle Reg The Rocket Well grown wheaten of 9 months with dark points, pleasing expression, dark eye, good topline and balanced overall, well presented and his movement was steady and controlled, good textured coat, well presented.

2, Tweedisle Macnab. Wheaten of six and a half months, lacking confidence as yet, attractive head, eye and expression, well coated and presented.

JD (5,0)1 Landbuck Tillisch, Red of 13 months, lovely head, eye and expression, good topline and tail set, well balanced and presented, moved out well when settled. A prospect for the future.
