I had a most enjoyable day
awarding CC’s for the first time. My
thanks to the exhibitors for their entries, to the committee for the
invitation, and of course to my 2 stewards.
MPD (1)
1st: Mears’ Glenmear Bret Maverick.
Red with ample bone, good shoulders, level topline which he held on the move,
nice length of leg with good rear quarters

1st: Thompson’s Castleline Bang OnTime. Red brindle with desirable dark points, good
head and expression, nice length of neck, good shoulders, level topline, moved
and showed well, in good coat
2nd: Peers’ Tweedisle Mac Nab.
Wheaten youngster, nice for size, moved ok, not as confident as 1

1st: Inett & Heidecker’s Hydecastle
Norman. Good showman with a
masculine head, good bite, well made front.
Nicely presented in a good coat.
2nd: Brennan’s Milindack What News Watson.
Nicely balanced wheaten, good head, front, and tailset, showed well
3rd: Bateman’s Dandi Boy Spud

Me to Correnie DCC and BOB. Have admired this d from the ringside and
was not disappointed. Wheaten brindle
who presents a balanced outline , excellent head, good layback of shoulders,
level topline, well muscled rear quarters.
Covered the ground well. Shown
in excellent coat and condition,
2nd: Shopland’s Cherrycrack Blackadder. RCC.
Liked this dog when I judged him as a puppy and feel he is maturing
along the right lines to fulfil his early promise. Similar comments as 1, but felt 1 had the edge today. Close
decision

1st: Ward’s Ch Vanajam Pop Idol.
Wheaten with excellent head, good reach of neck, well laid shoulders, level
topline, moved with drive, nicely balanced.
Appeared to lose his concentration in the challenge
2nd: King Leighton’s Carradine Night Listener At Harkinleigh. Nicely presented grey brindle with a
masculine head, moved and showed well
3rd: Smith’s Ch Rocasovale Razzle Dazzle

1st: Kinton’s Woodthorpe Maybe This Thyme.
Wheaten brindle baby, nice make and shape, just coming into new jacket,
good front and rear quarters, showed
well
2nd: Carlton-Smith’s Tribannon Royal
Command To Inglecourt. Wheaten
brindle, up to size, good head, higher on leg than 1, good ear placement, moved
okay once settled
3rd: Peers’ Tweedisle Sister Sarah

1st: Weinberger’s Correnie I Do But I
Don't. BP. This puppy caught my eye as soon as she entered the ring. Beautiful head & expression, good
layback of shoulder with a level topline, good tailset, moved well once
settled. Presented and showed well.
2nd:Mears’ Glenmear Mayqueen NAF. Another nice puppy with a good head and
expression, good reach of neck, well laid shoulders, level topline, moved well
3rd: Warne’s Cloverbrook Carousel At

1st: Dolan’s Glenrood Masqerade. Wheaten with a feminine head, small neat
ears, well laid shoulders, good reach of neck, level topline. Moved and showed well
2nd: Smith’s Anjofra Plum Tart At
Rocasovale. Extrovert red, built on slightly bigger lines than 1. Nice make
& shape. Gives her handler a hard time, but did enough to gain her placing
3rd: Inett, Harrison & Clayton’s
Carradine Time To Shine

level topline, presented in good coat, moved and showed well
2nd: Osborn’sTweslam Winter Magic. Red brindle, good head and expression, level
topline, moved and showed well. Close

3rd: Smee & Hewitt’s High Class Baby
at Malmay

JW. RCC. Lots to like about this
nicely balanced wheaten, feminine head with typical dark points, good front and
rear quarters, good tailset, Covered the ground well, moved freely
2nd:Firth's Cairngold Treasure.
Cream, balanced feminine bitch, good head, well constructed quarters, presented
in a good jacket
3rd: Shannon & Storr’s Brenndarcy

Wheaten brindle, who presents a balanced picture and is full of
animation. Beautiful head, good reach
of neck into well laid shoulders and level topline, correct tailset, moved true
fore and aft and covers the ground with drive.
Presented well in a coat of correct texture
2nd: Dolan’s Glenrood Warrior Princess.Nicely
balanced grey brindle, good feminine
head, nice front, level topline moved well
3rd: Inett & Harrison’s Miradorose
