It was a great pleasure to judge this champ show fro the CTC at Alva
My thanks to the committee and everyone involved, I was
made to feel very welcome and enjoyed my day. Above all my thanks to the
exhibitors for bringing their lovely Cairns under me. Not a big entry but a
quality one and I was delighted with my top winners. VD 21st
Berrecloth’s Ch Sybster Springtime – Typy 8 year old brindle not
letting on he is a veteran, full of life, liked his balance and good outline,
free mover, a very appealing dog. 2nd Ough’s Zephyr 7 year old full of zip, good coat, moved well, enjoying his
day. VB 1 1st Templeton’s Ch Larchlea Remember Remember.
7 year old who has always been a favourite of mine, outstanding dark brindle
bitch, loveliest head and expression, strong outline, flowing neck and
shoulders, strong outline, well balanced and a very good mover. Best veteran. SVD/B 3 1st Cameron’s Stryveling Ivanhoe. 11yr old Dark
Brindle, with a spring in his step, typy cairn, lovely head, moved &
showed well. 2nd Munday’s Ch Stradivarius Sonata, 10 year
old good moving grey, with typical head & expression, moved well holding
a good outline. 3rs Ough’s Ocedor Blue Moon, Not letting on he was 12 yrs
old, he was having a great time. Moving well and full of sparkle. MP D 3 1st Lamb & Saltmarsh’s Renshaw there and
back again. 7month red brindle, lovely head, nice flow over neck &
shoulders, good topline and tailset, moved & showed well, would like him
a size bigger. BMP 2nd Latimer’s Birselaw Sir Bobby. 8 month old
light red brindle, nice size and balance. Good mover. 3rd Carter’s Carradine Alfie The Great at
Carenewil. PD 41st Mear’s Glenmear Bret Maverick. 10 mnth old
showy red, pleasing masculine head good in neck shoulders, strong topline
& tailset, free mover needs to settle in front. 2nd Peers’
Tweedisle Sea Scout. Nicely balanced, well made silver brindle. Not in
the best of coats, (It’s an age thing!) Moved with ease, needs a little more
oomph!! 3rd Fortune’s Eglish Willies Wee man Essdeeeff Junior Dog 4,1a
Good Class 1st Braybrook’s Cloverbrook Codebreaker,
18month old Silver brindle upstanding young male, in great coat &
condition. Super head, best of neck & shoulders, topline, tailset all
correct, liked his balance and way he moved freely round the ring holding his
lovely outline. One to go to the top RCC 2nd Templeton’s Larchlea I want to break free.
14 mnth old dark brindle, outgoing showy boy with a lot to like, nicely
balanced, good in neck & shoulders, melting head & expression,
excellent mover not as mature as 1 3rd Guinn’s Birselaw Ice Dancer Yearling Dog 3,1a1st Winetta Sir Percy. Eye catching red
brindle, quality boy, excels in outline, nice head, moved and showed well.

Mill. Liked this typy showy boy, typical appealing head, excellent outline,

And was I thrilled to see this lovely dog, every inch a Champion, Glorious
head & expression, best of neck & shoulders, topline tailset balance,

Impressive, masculine grey with strong outline, Super head & moved
freely. 3rd Cameron’s Ch Stryveling Robb Ruadh . Special Beginners Dog 51st Auchinkyle Superman Stan at Drayhem. 2nd Eglish Willies Wee Man with Esseleeeff 3rd Eglish Spitting Image with Esseleeeff MPB 3,1a1st Ough’s Ocedar Sweetheart, Well balanced,
feminine 6 mth old baby very pretty head moved well. 2nd Buchan’s Carradine Little Cracker at
Drayhem. Appealing showy young lady, good head free mover Puppy Bitch 3,2a 1st Peers’ Tweedisle Sister Sarah. I liked this
well balanced, correctly constructed young lady, sweet head, easy mover,
she’s my type of cairn. However she does need a bit of Sparkle, she was still
Best puppy in Show. Junior Bitch 5,3a1st Mears Glenmear May Queen. 14 mnth old
red bitch, pretty head, nice neck in shoulders, good topline, moved &
showed well. 2nd Berrecloth’s Sybster Sunday Best. Lovely
head, nicely balanced youngster, flowing movement, nice show girl. Yearling Bitch 6,5a1st Doonrae Kast In Gold. Standing alone in
this class. She a typical feminine head, lovely outline, moved well. Maiden Bitch 2,1a1st Munday’s Stradivarius Petrushka. Another on
her own, but a lovely dainty girl. Showed & moved well. Novice Bitch 9,2a1st Cameron’s Sweet Caroline. Outstanding Red,
has everything I am looking for, loveliest of heads, super neck &
shoulders, topline, tailset all in right place. Loved her balance, she flowed
round the ring. Just my type of Cairn, considered for RCC, but just…………………… 2nd Warne’s Cloverbrook Carousel at
Spirebrooke. Silver brindle bitch I have often admired. She is indeed a true
cairn, well balanced, super feminine head, moves well and shows all out. Graduate Bitch 4,1a 1st Berrecloth’s Sybster Sonja. Red bitch look
a bit matronly, nice head moved with drive. 2nd Miller’s Cornton Badger’s Hope. Wheaten
bitch, nice make & shape, out of coat at the moment. 3rd Ough’s Ocedar Willow the Wisp. Post Grad Bitch 5 1st Roberts' Cannwood Danish Affair. Lovely
headed wheaten, strong outline, well balanced, feminine outlook, very good
mover, liked her a lot. 2nd Cornton’s Badgers Hope 3rd Harland’s Winnetta Anticipation at
Thackeaston Limit Bitch 7,1a1st Catto’s Birselaw Any Dream will do.
Outstanding red, lovely size and balance, stunning head & Expression.
Best of topline, tailset, neck & shoulders. It’s al perfect and to top it
all she moves like a dream, showing her socks off. BCC, RBIS 2nd Owen’s Honeyhall Handful At Caldwall. And a
handful she is, difficult to see her with all 4 paws on the ground, however I
saw enough to see a beautifully balanced feminine bitch with a superb
outline, loveliest of heads, firm topline, correct tailset and covered he
ground well RCC Open Bitch 31st Munday Birselaw Firebird at Stradivarius.
Prettiest of heads, easy mover, good flow over neck & shoulders, easy
mover, mover. Showed well. 2nd Snook-Van Koolberger’s Birselaw Emma
