              BELFAST DOG SHOW SOCIETY 2012

                              CAIRN TERRIERS

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Officers and Committee for the endless hospitality afforded to myself and Yvonne during our two day stay in Ireland.

In addition a much appreciated thank you to the exhibitors who had travelled from the mainland.

With regards to the Cairn Terriers it was a compact entry with the bitches having the overall edge on quality over the dogs.

Temperaments without exception were good, a few new coats required, movement still an issue, front and back, the odd narrow skull and small teeth plus some exhibits with distinct lack of muscle tone and substance, however, on a positive note there were some very fine exhibits also there.

Principle Winners.

DCC – Mrs M Hogarty – Cadagio More Than a Feeling

RDCC – Mr JTP & Mrs CM Roberts – Cannwood Cut Above

BCC – Miss D Inett – Carradine Come on Irene JW

A first class looking male up to size, super reach of neck with a strong well furnished head, level top-line and well set on tail, powerful rear quarters resulting in good rear movement, correct textured wheaten double coat.
