Cairn Terriers

It is always a privilege to judge our lovely breed. Both dogs& bitches were clean & well presented & temperaments excellent. Decisions in a number of classes were extremely close.

 

MPD (1) 1 Drew’s Tycando Thriller at L’Artiste, well presented 6 months wheaten, nice head & expression, good puppy coat, moved & showed well.

1 Catto’s Birselaw The Thrill Of It All, impressive r/br, lovely head & expression, good mouth, nice neck into shoulders, level topline & correct tailset. Sound in body & excellent coat, moved well & showed his heart out. RCC;

2 Bateman & Gompels’ Carradine Terries Tipple, attractive wheaten, sound, lovely head & expression, in good coat & well presented, nice neck into shoulders, moved & showed very well;

3 Coffell’s Ometto I Am The One And Only.

1 Shannon & Storr’s Brenndarcy Borgen, nice quality wheaten, good head& expression, correct mouth, good topline, muscle, tailset & bone, excellent coat & well presented, moved & showed very well;

2 Currie’s Stirlingview Stunning, lovely head & expression, good in body & coat, moved & showed well;

3 Coffell’s Cloverbrook Crusader at Ometto.

 

PGD (2)

1 Percy’s Winetta Stand And Deliver, r/br, lovely head & expression, correct mouth, good neck & shoulder, sound in body, excellent coat & condition, well presented. Moved positively covering the ground & showed very well;

2 Parker-Tucker’s Uniquecottage Jumbuck, attractive wheaten, good masculine head & expression, nice neck into shoulders, good muscle & bone, quality coat& condition, well presented. Started off rather tentatively on the move but was sympathetically handled to pull himself together proceeding to move very well fore & aft & show confidently.

1 Parker-Tucker’s Uniquecottage Raleigh, well presented dark brindle, lovely head & expression, correct mouth, good neck, shoulders& topline, nice depth & spring of rib, good muscle & bone, in good coat & condition, very good movement both ways covering the ground & showed very well;

2 Lamb & Saltmarsh’s Renshaw There And Back Again, dark brindle, lovely head & expression, correct mouth, good spring of rib, topline & tailset, in very good coat & condition. Handled, moved & showed very well;

3 Peer’s Tweedisle Sea Scout.

 

OD (6) A very strong class & could change places on another day.

1 Felters & Rumens’ Ch Landbuck Tillisch, super head & expression, in profuse thick quality coat under which was to be found a lovely neck into well laid shoulders. Good depth & spring of rib, good topline, muscle & bone, very good front & strong quarters. His movement was faultless & showmanship exemplary. In top form. CC;

2 Braybrook’s Ch Cloverbrook  Codebreaker, lovely balanced brindle, beautiful head & expression, nice reach of neck into well laid shoulders, correct mouth, good topline & tailset, good depth & spring of rib, true front, strong body, in excellent coat & condition, very well presented, moved & showed well. He did not quite display his usual sparkle. Lovely type with most impressive outline, a worthy ch;

3 Roberts’ Canwood Cut Above.

1 Osborn’s Tweslam Mystery Of Magic, 6 months wheaten, promising baby, gave a good account of herself. Nice head & expression, furnishings coming in, correct mouth, good topline & tailset, nice body. Moved showed very well.

1 Robinson’s Cruzo Chantelle, attractive 11 months wheaten, lovely feminine head & expression, correct mouth, nice neck into shoulders, good topline & tailset, good body. Quality coat & well presented. Moved true both ways covering the ground & showed very well. BP;

2 Felters & Rumens’ Landbuck Xanthe, feminine head & expressive eye, correct mouth, good topline & tailset, nice body & outline, well presented coat, sympathetically handled & when settled moved & showed very well;

3 Smee’s Sunshine Sally.

 

JB (3) Lovely class.

1 Keeves’ Seveek Living The Dream, very impressive, well constructed red youngster, lovely balance, beautiful head & expression, correct mouth, lovely neck into shoulders, good topline & tailset. In excellent coat & condition, well presented. Moved true both ways with drive covering the ground, showed extremely well. One to watch for top awards. RCC;

2 Bateman & Inett’s Carradine In Love With Amy, attractive wheaten, lovely head & expression, correct mouth, nice neck into shoulders, good body, quality coat, well presented, moved & showed very well;

3 Confue’s Anjofra Mymble.

2 Percy’s Winette Unforgettable, good type, lovely head, expressive eyes, balance d& well presented, nice neck into shoulders, good topline & tailset, bodying up nicely, good quality coat. Moved & showed very well;

2 Kinton’s Woodthorpe Playin For Thyme, good head & expressive eye, good neck into shoulder, correct mouth, level topline, good body & condition, in lovely coat & well presented, very happy & full of herself. When settled moved & showed very well;

3 Usher’s Stryveling Polly Flinders.

1 Dolan’s Castleline Peggy Sue, well presented wheaten, balanced, nice length of leg, lovely head & expression, correct mouth, nice neck into shoulders, good body, topline & tailset, quality coat, well presented. Moved & showed very well;

2 Yates & Johnson’s Pendley Playaway, lovely head & expression, correct mouth, good reach of neck into shoulders, good topline& tailset, excellent coat & condition, well presented, moved & showed very well;

3 Parker-Tucker’s Sea Breeze.

 

OB (4) Very strong class, could change places on another day.

1 Dolan’s Ch Glenrood Masqerade, very impressive, in tip top condition, beautiful head, expressive eyes, correct mouth, lovely reach of neck into well laid shoulders, good depth & spring of rib, nice bone & muscle, level topline. Correct front & strong quarters, quality coat & put down to perfection. Moved true both ways & covered the ground very well, showed all out. CC & BOB;

2 Kinton’s Woodthorpe Maybe This Thyme, attractive r/br, lovely head & expression, correct mouth, well put together, nice neck into shoulders, good depth & spring of rib, good topline, tailset, muscle & bone. Well presented in quality coat & condition. Moved & showed very well;
