Cairn Terriers
Due to the weather conditions judging took place in the tent.
Some decisions were extremely close & placings could easily change on
another day.
All puppies coped exceedingly well with the ground in the
ring. Unfortunately the ground did not meet with approval from some Cairns in
the higher classes& it affected their performance.
PD (7,2a)
1 Weinberger’s Correnie Hurricane Fly, very confident, balanced
6 months red. Excellent head & expression, correct mouth, good neck into
well placed shoulders, level topline, good tailset, coat & condition. Moved
very well& showed all out. A promising prospect;
2 Kinton’s Woodthorpe I Know The Code, wheaten/br, another
promising 6 months old. Lovely head & expression, correct mouth, nice neck
into sloping shoulders, good topline, tailset, coat& condition.
Sympathetically handled to give his best. Moved & showed very well; 3
Alexander’s Stirlingview Shake The Dice.

promising young dogs.
1 Roberts’ Canwood Call Of Duty, r/br, maturing nicely,
lovely head & expression, correct mouth, nice neck into shoulders, good
spring of rib, topline, tailset, coat & condition. Moved very well covering
the ground. A very confident showman;
2 Parker-Tucker’s Uniquecottage Winsford, r/br, just out of
puppy. A lot to like about this youngster. Very good head & expression,
correct mouth, good neck into shoulders & spring of rib, strong quarters,
nice bend of stifle. In good coat & condition. When settled moved &
showed really well.
PGD (3,1)

years old enjoying her day out. Nice head & expression, correct mouth. In
very good coat which was well presented. Covered the ground & showed well.
OB (7,1)
Splitting hairs on the placings in this class of quality. Two Cairns reacted
strongly to the ground in the ring, one flatly refusing to walk on it, the
other thought it great to play on.
1 Alexander’s Ir Ch Stirlingview Peggy Sue, r/br, entered the
ring with real style. Lovely feminine head & expression, dark eye, good
stop, correct mouth, nice reach of neck into sloping shoulders. Good front,
body & strong quarters. In excellent coat & condition & most eager
to please her handler, Moved extremely well coming & going. Powered around
the ring & showed all out. Close decision when challenging for BOB. CC;
2 Keeves’ Ch Seveek Living The Dream, one I admired as a
junior& she has now matured into a worthy ch. Lovely head & expression,
good eye & stop, correct mouth, nice neck into well placed sloping
shoulders, good front, rib, body & strong quarters. Coat not quite at its best
today. Moved true fore & aft. Covered the ground & showed extremely
well. RCC; 3 Hewitt’s Littleacorn Stay In Touch.
