CITY OF BIRMINGHAM CHAMPIONSHIP DOG SHOW – Saturday 30th August 2014

CAIRN TERRIERS

I would like to thank the City of Birmingham Committee for their hospitality and the exhibitors for their entries.

Temperaments were very good.  Movement though was very mixed, some excelled with good drive from the rear but I was disappointed to find some almost touching at the rear.

VD (1)

1.      King & Leighton’s Ch. Carradine Night Listener At Harkinleigh, dark grey brindle with masculine head, only just into veteran, covered the ground well holding his topline, showed well.

MPD (2)

1.      Weinberger’s Correnie Hurricane Fly, red brindle, good front, nice neck and shoulders and level topline.  Furnishings will complete the picture – moved and showed well.

2.      Alexander’s Stirlingview Shake The Dice, wheaten with desirable black points, lovely head and expression, full of himself, very showy.

PD (2)

1.      Catto’s Nordcairn's Once Upon A Time At Birselaw (Imp), dark brindled full coat, lovely head, nice neck into level topline, would like to see him moved a little quicker.  BPD & BP. Pleased to see he went Terrier Puppy Group 2 under Puppy Group Judge, Albert Wight.
