CAIRN JUDGE
SKC MAY 15 Cairn
Terriers Thank you
for bringing the dogs, it was my pleasure to stand in for the designated
judge today (Ms M Hawkes). PD (2) 1
Alexander’s Cloverbrook Crack The Code, well built boy with the type in head
& balance, he is good through body & coat, he moved easily to win the
class; 2 Miller’s
Cornton Armistice, lovely for type & attitude with the shape &
tailset. I liked his balance with development going well. Good style but not
quite the movement of 1 today. Two promising youngsters. JD (2) 1
Alexander’s Stirlingview Shake The Dice, good overall attitude with the
outline, balance & bone. Good type coat with the harsh feel, attracts in
head & moved with purpose to edge the win here; 2 Confue
& Pavlova’s Anjofra Roulette Russe, I liked the size & alert attitude
with the shape & balance. He is good over head & body but not quite
the enthusiasm on the move today. PGD (3) 1 Percy’s
Winetta Sir Ivor, lively, alert & balanced with the appeal in head, neck,
body, deep chest & rib. He carries the coat & was the better mover
here to win this class; 2 Miller’s
Cornton Dark Corrie, good type with the shape, body, rib & strong
rearquarters. Not quite the front but has the head & active appearance; 3 Brennan’s
Cloverbrook I Mean Business at Milindack. LD (1) 1 Roberts’
Cannwood Call Of Duty, attracts in head with the skull width, jaw &
muzzle strength. He has good balance to his body & tailset, he has the
neck, topline & strong muscled rear quarters. He can move with his easy
free stride reaching in front & drive at the rear. Great coat cover of
correct type. The on form dog in the challenge to take the CC. OD (2) 1 Pearson’s
Cloverbrook Special Effect, lovely impressive boy with the overall balance
& shape, appeals & alert in head, neck, topline & angles. He is a
good size & moved with the action. Close here & in the challenge.
RCC; 2 Catto’s
Ch Birselaw The Thrill Of It All, pushing hard with this lad, well balanced
& attractive in head, skull width & earset. He is built well in body
with the chest & rib. Carries the coat & muscle but not quite going
with the action of 1 today. VD (0). PB (5,1a) 1 Catto’s
Nordcairn’s Peace Of Mind at Birselaw, what a fabulous puppy, super 7 months
old with the outline, power & muscletone in loin & rear quarters. She
is building well in body, has a great attitude & balance, she went well
to take the class & BP; 2
Braybrook’s Cloverbrook Keep The Faith, solid, well built & typical with
the outline, head & earset, good through body, topline & quarters.
She can work with her handler to move easily when she wants. Close up here; 3 Roberts’
Cannwood Millie Tu Tu. JB (1) 1 Dawson’s
Sybster Saffron, good looking young girl who is alert & has a great
attitude. She is building well in body, front & chest with the muscletone
developing. I liked her shape & balance standing & on the move. PGB (4) 1 Confue’s
Anjofra Mad About Me, impressive, workmanlike of good size & quality
coat. This stunning girl has a lovely expression, well proportioned head
& alert earset, she is good through neck, body, rib & chest, is
strong on topline & muscular rearquarters. She moved with the brisk &
vigorous action required. She was well handled to take the class. BB &
BOB; 2 Miller’s
Cornton Brora, good head & earset greet you on this lady with the
topline, coat & rear end. She is good through neck, front & body,
moving easily with purpose; 3
Berrecloth’s Sybster Sanderoma. LB (2) 1 Confue’s
Anjofra Mymble, I liked the shape, balance & outline on this lady. She, I
felt, was the better mover with the action front & rear. She attracts in
head & was built well in body, carrying herself with the agile approach
needed; 2 Percy’s
Winetta Unforgettable, good solid girl with the head & earset, she has
the neck, solid in body & rearend, with the muscled quarters. Going well
but not quite the front & rear action of 1 today. OB (2) 1
Alexander’s Ir Ch Stirlingview Peggy Sue, a substantial bitch with the
outline & balance. She is built well through chest, rib & body with a
good topline & coat cover. She is alert in head, ear & attitude &
moved with the reach & drive required. She pushed hard in the challenge
taking the RCC today; 2
Braybrook’s Cloverbrook Copyright, promising girl with the alert attractive
head. She has the shape & balance, good through body, tail & backend
but not putting her all in on the move today lacking the drive behind but has
the assets to challenge when she is on form. VB (1) 1 Dawson’s
Sybster Sauvignon, lovely veteran girl enjoying her day out. She has an
attractive head & earset, good through balance, muscletone & coat
cover. Not quite the body strength but moves OK with her handler’s
encouragement. JEFF LUSCOTT |
