South Wales
and West of England Cairn Terrier Club Championship show 18th Oct
2015 First of all
I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge at their Club
show. As exhibitors we tend to take
it for granted that a show runs without appreciating the hard work the
committee puts into running an event, so I would like to congratulate the
committee on organising such a successful event with two wonderful ring
stewards Sharon and Amanda. To the
exhibitors a big thank you for your entries and the opportunity to go over
your dogs and the sporting way in which you accepted the placings. Temperament
on the whole was wonderful. I found shoulders on some to be little upright
and some short in upper arm which effected front movement fore chest is something
we seem to be losing in the breed others had long hocks and lacked drive when
moving. Heads some were lacking stop
which takes from that beautiful head that is so desirable Veteran (4,4) 1 Felters and Rumen’s .Ch Landbuck Jazz
Hand Loved this bitch she oozed
quality and is in super condition one who pushed hard in the challenge. She has a beautiful head with a lovely
mischievous expression nice reach of neck into good shoulder placement
flowing into a level topline. Shown
in a good harsh coat. She moved well
when she settled she is so exuberant that she kept her handler on his toes
trying to curtail her exuberance. 2.
Thompson’s Ch Castline Bonnie another
lovely bitch with a good head nice proportions and expression .
This female has a nice forechest
adequate lay back of shoulder into a good topline and tailset she is a
