Critique for the NICTC Championship Show
Judging for the North of Ireland Cairn Terrier Club, 36th Single breed
championship show, held at six mile leisure centre, Ballynure road,
Ballyclare, Northern Ireland on 24th September 2017.
I would like to thank the committee for their well organised show and
their really warm and friendly welcome to myself and the exhibitors and the
visitors that attended the show.
I would like to say a huge thank you to all who generously made
entries and sponsored classes for a small breed club, it keeps the club alive. A
special thanks to the exhibitors who came from across the water and land to
attend the show.
I was very pleased with the quality and soundness of the entry, we
still need to watch out for balance of size we have a breed that is a medium sized terrier we need to watch out for the
length of body to leg. All had correct scissor bite with clean teeth of good
size of jaw to head. We must still keep a watch on movement some stand well but go close on
hind movement on the move. Sadly there were no puppies at the show.
