Thank you to Sheona Fortune for all photographs apart from the top one by Jeanette Smith

Critique for Cairn Terriers at the Scottish Kennel Club Championship Show, 21st May 2017.

I would like to thank the committee of the Scottish Kennel Club for the invitation to judge, and for their hospitality, my stewards Sheona Fortune and Margaret Shaw for their help after a long day fpr them both, and to all the exhibitors.

The day was vey enjoyable and ,overall, I was happy with the quality  of the entry. It is defineitly worth noting that the the height and weight of both the dogs and bitchs varied dramatically  over the total entry. As on all previous occasions when I have judged, all temperaments were excellent.

Best in Show was the Bitch, Mrs J Percy's Winetta I've Got A Feeling , with Mrs J Percy's Winetta Sir Ivor winning the Dog CC . The Best Puppy was Mr and Mrs I and Mrs E Shaw's Sybster September Song By Honeyhall, and the Best Veteran was Mrs J Smith's Ch Rocasovale Razzle Dazzle.
