Thank you to Graham Peers for the photographs
It was a great honour to be asked to Judge Cairns at Crufts. Particularly with it being the same venue
I judged my first championship show back in 2000. Thank you to Exhibitors from both home and abroad for allowing me the
privilege of going over their dogs and thank you also to my well organised
Stewards. I was pleased with the overall
quality of my entry and was looking primarily for breed type, conformation
and movement. I found a few mouths
with incorrect bite and a number of exhibits were lacking muscle in their
hindquarters, affecting their rear movement. It was lovely to have the big
ring which enabled movement to be assessed clearly. There was quite a
variation in coat quality and presentation.
I am pleased to report that temperaments were excellent throughout. I felt a
lovely atmosphere around the ring and I thoroughly enjoyed the day - thank
you. Class
