SKC (May) Cairn Terriers Puppy - Dog Entries: 2 Absentees: 1 1ST
Miller’s CORNTON FYNE FETTLE – 9 month entire pup, in between coats at
the moment. Good weight and size, a
little hesitant on the move, but nevertheless a true mover. Showed well. Junior - Dog Entries: 2 Absentees: 0 1ST
Percy’s WINETTA QUEST FOR FAME – ultra smart of correct size, well
balanced, in good textured coat, moved with drive from the rear, good mouth,
strong head with nice Cairny expression, correct eye, showed and stood four
square. Well presented. RDCC. 2ND Lamb
& Saltmarsh’s BIRSELAW COME DANCING WITH MACMOON – wheaten brindle, good
head and expression, well balanced with good flow of neck. In good coat, well presented, attentive to
handler. Limit - Dog Entries: 5 Absentees: 2 1ST
Miller’s CORNTON DARK CORRIE – excels in head with correct eye and
good mouth. Well balanced, in good
coat and condition. Moved well. 2ND
Carter & Clarke’s LENTRICA ROCKET MAN AT CARERNWIL – smart cream,
nice size and balance, level topline and correct tailset. Showed very well indeed, well presented. 3RD
Parkin’s CARRADINE MY MATE MATTHEW Open - Dog Entries: 3 Absentees: 0 1ST
Shannon & Storr’s BRENNDARCY TINSOLDAT – smart red, correct size,
attractive masculine head, good forechest and straight front. Level topline, kept on the move. Well muscled all over. Nicely angulated in rear. Moved true both ways. In excellent, full coat and condition and
well presented. He stood out and I
was pleased to award him the DCC. 2ND
Catto’s BIRSELAW STAY WITH ME – dark brindle, lovely, typical head
with good stop, in full coat and good condition. Good front, correct layback, level topline. Showed very well for handler. 3RD
Percy’s WINETTA SIR IVOR Veteran - Dog Entries: 3 Absentees: 1 1ST
Lamb & Saltmarsh’s BIRSELAW FABLE OF MACMOON SHCM IR VET CH –
excels in head, it is really lovely.
He is in tip top condition, very lively for his age, a credit to his
owner. Moved OK and showed with
animation. BV 2ND
Parkin’s ROACHDEE MYSTERY OF THE FULL MOON – light red with a really
attractive head, short in muzzle with good stop. Not in quite so good
condition as winner. Puppy - Bitch Entries: 4 Absentees: 1 1ST
Clarke’s LENTRICA DOLLY MIXTURE – I liked this pup a lot, well bodied
for age, well balanced with a feminine head.
Nice make and shape, moved true both ways. A good showgirl, one to watch. BP 2ND
Goud’s LENTRICA LIBERTY BELL – On same stamp as winner but then I see
they are litter sisters. Same remarks
apply but winner is more mature. Just
needs to body up. 3RD
Catto’s BIRSELAW VIKING PRINCESS Post Graduate - Bitch Entries: 1 Absentees: 0 1ST
Miller’s CORNTON STARR TURN – nice sized bitch who showed well. Pretty head which would be enhanced with
more furnishings. Good mouth. In
really profuse coat which made her appear a little short in neck. Reluctant mover but when she did move she
moved OK. Limit - Bitch Entries: 4 Absentees: 1 1ST
Percy’s WINETTA I'VE GOT A FEELING – another smart one from this
kennel. Stands well forward on
forepaws with a good depth of brisket.
In good coat and exceptionally well presented. Moved true in front and with drive from
the rear. Showed well. 2ND
Felters & Rumens’ LENTRICA FAME AT LANDBUCK – Nice size and
correct weight, feminine head with short muzzle and keen expression. Conformation all OK. Moved well behind. 3RD
Catto’s NORDCAIRN'S PEACE OF MIND AT BIRSELAW (IMP DNK) Open - Bitch Entries: 3 Absentees: 0 1ST
Shannon & Storr’s BRENNDARCY CLOUDBUSTING – lovely light red,
again correct size and well balanced, not overdone in any way. Smashing head with good mouth, large
teeth. In profuse coat of correct texture. I found her difficult to
fault. Fits the standard perfectly.
Correct movement both ways and very attentive to handler. Exceptional bitch. BCC and BOB. 2ND
Clarke’s CH LENTRICA DOLLY
DAYDREAM JW – lovely clean outline, Cairny head, correct eye. Lovely flow of
neck into clean shoulders, straight front and level topline. Showed to perfection and moved
particularly well. A close decision
between 1 and 2. RBCC 3RD
