Richmond Championship Show Cairn Terriers

Thanks to all exhibitors for your entries and to my two stewards who worked really hard.

Pd (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: Morley, Kanawha Spy Man, Wheaten pup, nice outline.  Expressive head with deep stop and neat ears.  Adequate length and flow of neck, back level. Straight front and good rear angulation.  Nicely presented and moved OK.  A good future prospect.

Jd (2 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: Fanning, Lindcoly The Great Oz, Sturdy, solid brindle male. Upstanding dog with masculine head with broad skull and strong muzzle.  Nicely boned, good in front, deep in rib and moved OK.  Not in the best of coats today.  He would look better if he was shown freely.

Yd (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: Saich, Lindcoly Marvelous Trevour, 19 month old youngster, attractive head, strong jaw.  Medium in all respects.  Nicely boned, balanced, moved very well, both front and back.

Nd (2 Entries) Abs: 0

Ld (4 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: Dennis, Goddard & Waites, Good Times Ahead With Oudenarde, Upstanding red brindle male, not a small one but so well balanced.  Really masculine head with deep stop and strong muzzle.  Correct in mouth. Good but not heavy bone.  Level topline which he kept on the move.  Strong back of correct length. Deep in rib.  Stood four square and moved straight in front with drive in the rear, steady showman.  Well presented. DCC

2nd:Parker-Tucker, Tom Trick's Incredibly Ilay Of Uniquecottage Aw, Dark brindle male with a great, well furnished head and Cairny expression.  Adequate length of neck flowing into clean well laid shoulders.  Strong in body, correct tailset. Well muscled in rear.  Moved soundly, both front and back but today he didn’t appear to be as lively and showy as he usually is.

3rd: Weinberger, Cruzo Copper Coin For Correnie

Res: Shopland, Cherrycrack Moonreakur

Od (3 Entries) Abs: 0

1st Felters & Rumens Landbuck Kingsman, A very smart, balanced and well presented male of excellent proportions and correct size.  Typical head with deep stop and broad skull.  Good mouth. Straight front with good bone, correct length of neck flowing into clean shoulders.  Level topline, deep in rib.  Good rear angulation.  Very well presented, in excellent double coat and an excellent showman.  RDCC

2nd: Inett & Harrison, Carradine In 'N Out Mr Sprout, Dark brindle, heavily coated male.  Excellent head with strong jaw, good mouth.  Strong body, deep in rib, level back.  Correct tailset, carried well.  Moved with drive in the rear.  Today he appeared to have less daylight underneath him, probably due to his abundance of coat.

3rd: Saich Lindcoly Howling Mad Murdoc

Pb (4 Entries) Abs: 1

Eyes of correct shape and colour.  Correct size and so well balanced.  Adequate bone with straight front, good length of neck and level topline.  Tailset correct, moved out well with drive with adequate space between her rear legs.  Attentive to handler.  BPIB

2nd: Waugh Glory Daze At Tribannon, Upstanding cream bitch, very showy.  Feminine, balanced head, good dentition.  Conformation all A1, she is a really strong bitch for one so young.  Level topline, kept on the move. Moved well in profile.

2nd: Shannon & Storr, Doonrae Rebel Rebel Among Brenndarcy, A smashing bitch to go over on the table, very nice.  Excellent conformation. Loved her head and expression, short muzzle and deep stop.  Correct eye shape and colour.  Make and shape all OK.  Regrettably she was not giving it her all today.
