CAIRN TERRIERS – Thank you to WKC for the invitation, the exhibitors for their entries and my stewards who kept the 'office' in order.  The grass was difficult for some to cope with and did not move as I am sure they can some managed better than others.

 

JD (3-1ab) 1 CC Jones & Arnold's Tycando Tom Foolery, young wheaten d of quality

balanced head, neat erect ears, good pigment, ample bone, moderate neck, ribs carried well back, tail bang on, low set hocks, once settled moved out well fore & aft with good outline, 2 & RCC, Yates & Johnson's Pendley Seafarer, another youngster of quality and will change places many times, lovely head, uses his well set ears to advantage, good front assembley, well ribbed, good tail set, well muscled quarter used well on the move, lovely coat presentation of good texture, should do well

 

PGD (1) Bingham's Carradine Bumbling Boris, 4yr old wheaten d of good breed type, balanced head, neat well set ears, ample stop, good muzzle & bite, ribs carried well back, firm loin & tail set on, low hocks well padded feet, moved freely

 

LD (3) 1 Waugh's Glenrood Galaxy At Tribannon, well balanced brindle d but does give his handler a hard time, good head, neat ears, strong muzzle & bite, good run-in & layback, good topline & tail set, low set parallel hocks, moved out well once settled to the job in hand, 2, Hiam's Carradine Arfa Pint JW, brindle of quality, good head, neat ears, well shaped eye, strong muzzle & bite, ample bone, moderate neck, well ribbed, firm loin, low set hocks, good coat texture, moved soundly fore & aft, 3,Parker-Tucker's Uniquecottage Grey Borage

 

VB (1) 1 & BVIB Smith's Cannwood  Misty Dawn At Gethlee, wheaten just in veteran & still maintaing a good outline, well balanced head, neat ears, dark eye, good muzzle & bite, well ribbed, firm loin, tail set ok, low set hocks, well presented jacket, moved soundly fore & aft

 

JB (6) quality class, 1 Yates & Johnson's Pendley Sea Breeze, litter sister to my d RCC & another lovely exhibit of good breed type as you would expect from this exhibitor, & I see from the catalogue that their dam was my BB & BPIS at a Breed Club show some years , obvoiusly producing quality stock, lovely head, neat ears, dark well shaped eye, good run-in & layback, good ribs, firm loin, low set hocks super coat texture, showed with verve,  2, Parker-Tucker's Sandrio Zinnia Of Uniquecottage, grey brindle, another quality b, lovely head, neat ears used well, dark well shaped eye, good muzzle & bite, ample bone, good ribs to firm loin, tail set on, well muscled quarters, low set hocks, good coat texture, 3, Goud's Atholl's Snug In the Blanket

 

GB (2) 1 Goud's Breezy Kingussie Molly Connell, well balanced b, neat ears, good pigment, muzzle & bite, ample bone, ribs carried well back, strong loin, low set hocks, well padded feet, moved freely, 2, Osborn & Osborn's Be Gin Again at Tweslam, well proportioned head, good ear set, stong muzzle & good sized teeth, moderate neck, good topline, hocks well let down, neat feet, well presented coat

 

PGB (3-1ab) 1 Bubb's Wandris Please Yourself JW, b full of character, lovely head, neat well set ears, good muzzle & bite, well ribbed, good topline & tail set, low set hocks, once settled moved soundly fore & aft, 2, Osborn & Osborn's Tweslam Chasing Rainbows, well balanced head, neat ears, dark eye, strong muzzle & bite, tidy front, ribbed carried well back to firm loin, low set hocks, well padded feet, today not as free on the move as 1

 

LB (4) 1, CC & BOB, Dolan's Glenrood Midnight Spell, lovely dark brindle b of quality, took my eye as she entered the ring & did not disappoint, lovely head & expression, good muzzle & bite, ampe bone, ribs carried well back to firm loin, tail set on, well muscled quarters giving sound movement, well presented coat, 2, Goldfinch's Kanawha Never Say Never, lovely b to go over, well balanced outline, neat ears, good pigment, well ribbed, good tail set, low hocks, well padded feet, good coat texture, showed with aplomb, 3, Osborn & Osborn's Tweslam Be Gin The Magic (AI(1)

 

OB (5) 1 & RCC Goldfinch's Ch Tycadno Bright Star For Kanawha, mature grey brindle b, so well balanced, lovely outline, well made head, neat ears, good muzzle & bite, tidy front, good run-in & layback, firm topline & loin, low set hocks, moved with purpose & drive, in lovely coat,  2, Waugh's Ch Glory Daze At Tribannon, another worthy ch, balance head, good ear set, dark well shaped eyes with keen expression, moderate neck, good topline, tail set on, sound quarters, not giving her best today on the move, 3, Inett & Harrison's Carradine Wilma
