thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to judge the breed at this years’ well run
and friendly event. Thank you to my Stewards, Sharon Confue and colleague who
kept me on track to complete judging in good time and, of course, special
thanks to the exhibitors for their entries. Special Beginners Dog or Bitch (2, 1
abs) 1
Metcalf-Sault CANNWOOD QUIET REFLECTIONS. Four year old gr/br bitch in good coat who moved
steadily. Head, expression, stop and bone good. Enjoying her day out. BSpeB Veteran Dog or Bitch (2, 0) 1 Smith
CANNWOOD MISTY DAWN AT GETHLEE. Eight year old cream bitch in good coat and expression; well constructed throughout. BVet 2

CALL ME AGGIE. Very similar to winner and same comments apply. I see that she
is the same way bred as the winner but one year younger. Minor Puppy Dog (No entries) Puppy Dog (2, 0) 1 Harrison,
& Inett and Bateman CARRADINE MY WAY LENNY. Nine mths
grey/br with good head, eye, stop, coat and bone.
Moved confidently. Very promising. BPD and later BPIB 2 Shopland SANDERFIELD
ON THE ROCKS FOR CHERRYCRACK (IMP FIN) Naf, Araf. Lovely dark gr/br just
over nine mths in good coat. Liked his head,
expression, topline. Something spooked him initially but moved well when
settled. Another very promising youngster. Junior Dog (1, 1) Graduate Dog (2, 0) 1 Thomas
TYCADNO MAGIC MAN. Well made
cream two year old; liked head, eye, stop, substance. Quality coat. Looked
good standing and moved very well. 2 Inett
& Harrison CARRADINE AYRE FRIAR. Lt/red br not
quite eighteen mths. Coat, head, expression ok;
steady mover but not as animated as winner. Post Graduate Dog (2, 0) 1 Roberts’
CANNWOOD MOONLIGHT SHADOW. Lt cream/br. Balanced with good head, eye, bone. Coat starting to go. Moved with drive extremely well
from rear 2 Mcintyre
MACANTSAOIR CELTIC WARRIOR. Nice type; balanced.
Typical head, eye, coat, expression. Movement from rear not as positive as
winner. Limit Dog (4, 0) First and
second were similar in type and age 1 Ballinger
CLOVERBROOK GAME SET NMATCH. Lovely head and expression; good coat , bone, construction.
Moved with drive and purpose 2 Clarke
FURYTHOR MR BOJANGLES BY LENTRICA. Liked his head, eye, expression, coat. Not as
settled as winner and seemed to lack verve today 3 Roberts’
CANNWOOD MOONLIGHT SHADOW Open Dog (11, 1) A class
teeming with quality
representatives of the breed and a joy to judge. 1 Bocquet FR CH RAGGAMUFFIN DU MOULIN DE MAC GREGOR [ATCBB10194FRA].
What an eye opener! A very smart dark grey/br I
have never seen before. Not big but all there – so well constructed and put
together. Lovely to handle; excellent head, coat, condition and texture and a
pleasure to watch him moving with drive from all directions. CC

IR CH CADAGIO ANOTHER DAY IN PARADISE. A handsome red dog in superb coat and condition.
Another dog who knows how to stride around the ring as if he owns it Res CC 3 Firth A,
L and Dr A CH CAIRNGOLD CHICO JW Minor Puppy Bitch (1, 0) 1 Saich C & L LINDCOLY JUST A DRAM (Naf).
Eight mths old baby standing alone in good quality
coat and condition. Alert, not overawed by the hubub
and enjoying her outing. Puppy Bitch (2, 0) 1 Saich C & L LINDCOLY SINGING ANGELA. Ten mths young puppy with good teeth, bite, coat. A nice
puppy but somewhat immature; time is on her side 2 Dennis
& Waites SVENDALENS SKYE LANTERN. Typical young puppy, just over eight mths and in good coat and condition for age. Junior Bitch (4, 0) 1 Shaw
TYCADNO STAR ATTRACTION AT HONEYHALL. An eye
catching, beautifully presented and handled cream/brindle young bitch with a
lovely, feminine head and keen expression. Correct eye, stop, head and the
best of fronts. Level topline and quality coat. Moved effortlessly around the
ring and stood and showed herself off to
perfection. CC (Her third) 2 Hogarty
CADAGIO LETS GET IT STARTED. Balanced, bigger than winner and more mature at
fifteen mths; another quality example of the breed.
Lovely head good bone, another who moved with

Parker-Tucker BIRSELAW FLORAL DANCER OF UNIQUECOTTAGE. Balanced light
red/wheaten in full coat of correct texture; keen expression, level topline, moved and showed
well. In excellent overall condition. 2 Shannon
& Storr BRENNDARCY WITCHES PROMISE. Smaller than winner but balanced,
eighteen mths, coat good, head/expression, bone,
showy, moved well. Looked somewhat immature but time to develop. Post Graduate Bitch (6, 0)

& Munday FURYTHOR MARVEL AT ME. A sound, workmanlike dark grey brindle –
not too big, balanced, just right bone, keen expression in good quality coat,
sound mover fore and aft. 2 Saich C & L LINDCOLYPICTURE PERFECT. Another all round sound, typical Cairn; light cream/brindle,
balanced, liked her overall shape and outline, level topline, good coat 3 Waugh
DAZZLE ME AT TRIBANNON Limit Bitch (7, 0) 1
Yates-Johnson PENDLEY SEA BREEZE. A lovely red/brindle, balanced, right for
size, level topline good head, expressive eye moved so effortlessly and with
drive Res CC 2 Robinson
CRUZO CRYSTAL OCEAN. Mature, cream bitch with a lovely head, balanced,
quality coat, well presented and moved with the necessary drive to show off
her qualities 3
Parker-Tucker SANDRIO ZINNIA OF UNIQUECOTTAGE Open Bitch (4, 0) 1 Firth Mrs
L, Dr Amy and Mr A CH CAIRNGOLD CHIQUITITA. One I have liked from when I
judged her as a puppy; balanced, excellent coat and condition, presented in
good order with a lovely head and expression, moved well and with purpose.
Worthy Champion. 2 Waugh CH
GLORY DAZE AT TRIBANNON. Another worthy Champion and example of the breed. Quality coat,
presented in good condition, balanced, right for size, moved with that necessary drive and
