MIDLAND CAIRN TERRIER
CLUB 1. 8. 09
Sincere thanks to the Committee
of the Midland Cairn Terrier Club for giving me the great pleasure of judging
their August show. I would also like to
thank my Stewards for their efficiency and the Exhibitors for such a good
entry. Many of the dogs were excellent
indeed, but the overall quality was somewhat uneven and with much greater
strength in the bitches. I was pleased
to find that mouths have improved. Most
bites were acceptable with the correct number of incisors and also most
premolars present. I think this is
important in a Terrier in view of its original function. Front assemblies were however not always so
good. There were quite a few rather upright shoulders and also some short upper
arms and lack of forechest.
VD/B (3) 1
