Midland Cairn Terrier Club The Speedwell Rooms Chesterfield 2nd December 2017 I was delighted to judge the Midland Cairn Open
Show, I would like to thank the club for their hospitality and the stewards
for their hard work, it was an enjoyable day judging, good dogs, nice people,
and thank you for your entry. On the whole
mouths were generally good, a few exhibits were out of coat, I was very
pleased with my class winners and final line up, I had more than one
contender for RBD and RBB how lucky was I. Veteran Dog or Bitch Always a favourite at class at
breed club shows and my thanks to the the exhibitors for bringing out the
oldies. 1st

Full Moon, 9 Year old light red dog
with a masculine head, still moving well in, good coat, 2nd Davies Cloverbrook Harris Tweed
another 9 year old dark brindle good size and with good expression, 3rd Cullifords Brenndarcy Maid In Heaven Special
Beginners Dog. (2 1a) Cloverbrook Harris Tweed. Minor Puppy Dog (1) 1st Keeves
Seveek Treasure The Dream, Smart red, sweet head, good neck and shoulders,
level topline, moved well. (BPD) Puppy Dog (2 1a) 1st Petts
Doonrae Pin Ball Wizard, Short of coat but what was coming through was harsh
and thick, correct bite with large teeth, dark muzzle liked his size and
balance, Junior Dog (2) 1st Peers
Tweedisle Lively Lad, red brindle masculine dog, liked his size and balance,
shown in a thick weatherproof coat with a good texture, masculine head with
good stop, well laid shoulders, good muscle moved well. 2nd Reeves
Cairngold Bubbly, red typey dog, liked his head and outline, correct lay back
of shoulders in good condition. Post Graduate Dog

Trekhilli Pepperazzi , although he stood alone he is a worthy winner,
very well presented, appealing expression, good straight front,
correct shoulder placement, lovely bone and feet, moved well. Limit Dog (5) 1st Balls
Lentrica Lets Dance At Calamondin, wheaten brindle with a a good expression,
masculine head, large teeth with a correct bite, good ratio of leg to length,
nice spring of rib, moved freely, 2nd Carters
Lentrica Rocket Man at Carernwil, brother of one clear red also nice
expression, good stop, nicely balanced, good showman, 3rd Peers
Tweedisle Tugman. Open Dog (6 3a) 1st Waugh’s
Tribun Licorice Coin at Tribannon, dark brindle showy dog without a hint of
coarseness, balanced with an excellent neck flowing into well placed
shoulders, good tailset and topline moved well, nice head and expression
completing the picture. (BD and BIS) 2nd Shannon
and Storr Brenndarcy Tinsoldat, Red with a gorgeous typey head. Topline,
shoulders, movement coat preparation spot on, not so animated in class made
up for it in challenge. RBD. 3rd Waites Svendalens
Perserverence With Lentrica JW. Special Beginners Bitch (1) 1st Purvis,
Mosspur Time After Time, Wheaten Brindle, in good coat, correct bite, good
shoulder placement, moved well. Minor Puppy Bitch (3) 1st Roberts
Cannwood Chance The Moment, 8 month old wheaten bitch, appealing expression
with a good stop, nice neck and
shoulders flowing into good topline, moved well, handler getting the best of
her standing and moving, promising, BPIS.

Seveek with Corythean Sharing The Dreams, another 8 month old attractive red,
correct mouth, well put together, with a good outline, lovely movement. 3rd

Doonrae Private Dancer, nicely made bitch, correct mouth, good ratio of
height to length, straight front, the right amount of rib, moved well, just
needs more coat to complete the picture..
Junior Bitch (3 1a) 1st Soper’s
Elitecharm Five Of Diamonds I liked this typey bitch, nice size and balance,
feminine head of good proportions, good reach of neck and lay back of
shoulders, level top line into good tailset, good movement for and aft. 2nd Firths
Cairngold Carolina, smart red, correct mouth, pleasing head with a good stop,
good rear angulation, moved well Maiden
Bitch (1) Purvis Mosspur Time After Time. Post Graduate Bitch (6 3a) 1st Petts
Brenndarcy Hunky Dory Among Doonrae, this balanced bitch never stopped
showing she demanded to be noticed, attractive head, good scissor bite, good
straight front, level topline with good tailset, well presented .RBB. 2nd Felters
and Rumens Lentrica Fame at Landbuck, nice size and balance, pleasing head,
with a good stop, right amount of bone, in a good coat, moved well. 3rd.Dennis
Svendalens Knights Passion. Limit Bitch (3) 1st Smiths
Cannwood Misty Dawn at Gethlee, lots to like about this tidy girl, good head,
and eye, height to length ratio looked just right, good coat presentation,
moved and showed well. 2nd Peers
Tweedisle Gabriella, dark red brindle typey bitch, in a good harsh coat, with
an appealing expression, nice lay back, moved well, lacked sparkle today, 3rd Soper’s
Elitecharm Diamond Girl.. Open Bitch (5 3a) 1st Keeves
Seveek Hopes N Dreams, I was impressed with this bitch nothing extreme, all
the fine points we enjoy in harmony, delightful head, straight front,
excellent neck and shoulders, good angulation, excelled in movement, BB, RBIS 2nd Shannon and Storrs
Brenndarcy Cloud Busting, striking red with a beautiful head, good mouth,
level topline, good spring of rib, the right amount of bone, moved very well.
