Midland Cairn Terrier Club 02/03/2024 Many thanks to the committee for this invite,
and for a lovely morning at a good old fashioned show set up, a truly
wonderful atmosphere. I found some dogs to be airing on top size for the
breed, and came across a few rounder eyes which spoils the expression, which
alike to in WHWT’s spoils the overall expression of the dog. Veteran D/B (1,0) 1st Clarkes’s
Multi CH Cairnster’s Mr Don Juan. 8 year old nearly
black dog, strongest of heads and good expression, dentition has stood the
test of time. Good sound movement, keeping good balance on the move, of
excellent general build and balance. Best Veteran in Show. Puppy D (3,0) 1st Inett’s Carradine My
Way Lenny. 7 month old youngster with excellent potential, keenest of
expressions, broad in skull with definite stop, excellent in dentition,
strong neck to well laid shoulders, generally well balanced and good rear
angulation, moved sound. Reserve Best Dog, and Best Puppy in Show. 2nd Ortolano’s
Svendlends Max In A Million. 6 months old at his
first show, and did not disappoint, excellent in head and mouth, keen eye,
excellent overall balance and substance, just not as balanced on the move as
1. 3rd Sinclair’s Tycadno Quick Shot. Junior D No entries Post Graduate D (2,1) 1st Saich’s
Lindcoly Outta Sight. 2 and a half year old dog,
good width of skull and definite stop, excelled in general ear set yet felt
ears could be smaller, strong neck to well laid shoulders, deep in body and
well angulated rear quarters, clean general movement, could be tighter on the
front. Limit D (3,1) 1st Bingham’s Carradine
Bumbling Boris. Strong in head and dentition, strong neck to well laid
shoulders, in good jacket, good rear angulation, sound general balance, moved
ok. 2nd Lucas & Torbutt’s Seveek Country Lad. Good in head and earset, wider in front, good rear assembly, moved ok. Open D (5,2) 1st Shannon, Storr &
Middlehurst’s Brenndarcy It’s Magic (AI). The most perfect expression, tidy
well set ears, good width of skull, decisive stop, keenest of almost shaped
eyes, good reach of strong neck to well laid shoulders, very balanced in
general profile, carrying much jacket currently, however the dog underneath
is ever so sound, excelled in rear assembly, and moved sound, keeping profile
on the move. Best Dog and Best in Show. 2nd Clarke’s Furymor Mr Bojangles by
Lentrica. Good width of skull and stop at occiput, keen expression, and
excelled in mouth, strong neck to well laid shoulders, larger in body yet
very well balanced, moved sound. 3rd Inett’s Carradine Apple
jack. Puppy B (3,0) 1st Dennis & Waites
Svendalens Skye Lantern. Very balanced bitch, keen expression, good width of
skull and stop at occiput, excelled in general body, and balanced movement.
Reserve Best Puppy in Show. 2nd Inett’s
De Chameray Lady Margot of Carradine. Excellent in
head and expression, clean front, good general balance on stance and
movement, needs to tighten on front movement. 3rd Saich’s
Lindcoly Singing Angela. Junior B (2,1) 1st Wright’s Brenndarcy
Spellbinding for Glenmonte. Good width of skull,
tidiest of ear placements, and keenest of eyes, excelled also in dentition
and general balance. Of good size and well bodied, moved sound. Reserve Best
In Show and Best Opposite Sex. Post Graduate B (6,1) 1st Shannon & Storr’s Brenndarcy
Witches Promise. Sister to previous class winner and Reserve Best Bitch, more
interestingly daughters of Best in Show. Keenest of expressions, sound in
head and general balance, not the body and substance of litter sister, in
excellent jacket, strong neck to well laid shoulders, good overall assembly,
moved sound. 2nd Saich’s
Lindcoly Picture Perfect. Good head and dentition, good rear angulation,
moved sound. 3rd Munday’s
Furymor Marvel At Me. Limit B (3,2) 1st Metcalfe-Sault’s
Cannwood Quiet Reflections. 4 year old, good in head and dentition, good
overall balance, and very free mover. Open B (4,0) 1st Inett’s
Carradine Piccad Lily. Young bitch with keenest of
expressions, good in head, width of skull ear placement, good dentition, strong neck to well laid shoulders, good in

Snap by Jorvikcairn. Keen expression, good in head
and general balance, excellent rear angulation, moved sound. 3rd Saich’s
Lindcoly Malefecant Mo. Special Beginners D/B (2,0) 1st Sinclair’s Tycadno Quick Shot. Larger framed yet well balanced,
moved sound. 2nd Cannwood Quiet
