Yvonne Catto has sent news of her home bred NZ Ch Birselaw Robbie O' The Isles who was invited to the Contest of Champions last month (only BIS winners from general Ch Shows are invited). Robbie was awarded Supreme New Zealand Terrier and then went on to reach the Semi Finals of the overall competition. Hilary (Calvert) and her Mother , Irene, were overjoyed with these wins at the top dog event of the year in NZ. He is owned by Irene and handled by Hilary. He has had a fantastic show career in New Zealand among which he went BIS (in 2004) at the two Top Terrier Shows of the year under a International panel of judges. Robbie is Billy Fury's litter brother.

Carole Templeton also has news. The litter brother to the dog put up by Geoff Thomas in Sweden Larchlea Love Me Tender (see news Item dated 29/07/05) has just got his Canadian championship. He is called Larchlea Irish Rover (Clancy) They are out of Carole’s Ch. Larclea Looks Likes Heaven and sired by Yvonne’s Billy Fury!
