CAIRN TERRIER CLUB OPEN SHOW

24^TH APRIL 2004

 

Lovely spacious light venue. A depleted entry due to kennel cough.

 

M.P.D. 3-2a

1 Elliot’s Sarachelle Keep Em Coming, Wheaten brindle, coat of good texture nice size and balance, head of correct proportions. Good mouth, lovely expression, neat ears, a little wilful on the move.

 

Junior.Dog. 2-1a

1 Berrecloth’s Sybster Spring Time. Grey brindle, lovely head, mischievous eye, small ears, large teeth, coat of good texture. Good size and balance.

 

Novice Dog. 2-1a

1 Sybster Spring Time

 

Graduate Dog 2

1.       Evans’ Birselaw Billy The Kid At Kapplegill. Light red black mask. Very well presented, lovely head and expression. Showy and attentive nicely balanced R.B.D.

2.       Treglowns Brenndarcy Dangermouse. Grey brindle good head correct coat texture, little heavy in shoulder balance okay, very mischievous

 

Limit Dog 5

1 Mears’ Glenmear Malfoy. Upto size red, well constructed with good angulation, new coat coming in, strong head dark eye with correct Cairn expression. Good mouth, showy and sound on the move, covering the ground. BD and BOS

2 Berrecloths Sybster Sophora. Dark grey good head, neat ears, varminty expression, smaller than one but balanced.

 

Open Dog 2a

 

Veteran Dog Or Bitch 3-1a

1 Jeffrey’s Sandaig Silent Wings. Balanced cream bitch, darkeye, small ears, good mouth, moved animatedly enjoying the day.

2 Latto’s Ch. Pinetop Hot Spot. Twelve year old dog. Dark grey brindle good head and expression, good mouth, trotted nimbly round ring.

 

Special “best Little Pal” Puppy No entries

 

Special “Best little Pal” Open Dog or Bitch 5 1a

1 Fraser’s Sybster Sorrel. Two years wheaten Bitch, good head and expression, good balance, little heavy, moved okay.

2 Gilchrist Pinetop Hamish Again. Two years grey brindle carrying too much weight. A good head and his conformation was good.

 

Minor Puppy Bitch 4-1a

1Templeton’s Larchlea Let me Entertain U. Wheaten Brindle of six months mature for age. Lovely shape and balance expressive eye, good head, sound B.P.

2 Watt’s Sarachelle Billie Holiday. Wheaten, pretty feminine head, good coat. Showed well, of smaller build than one and not as mature.

 

Puppy Bitch 3-2a

1 Smith’s Rocasovale All That jazz. Stood alone up to size dark brindle attractive puppy with excellent mouth, good eye and expression, moved well.

 

Junior Bitch 3-2a

1 Berrecloth’s Sybster Spring Into Summer. Grey brindle, lovely head, small ears correct expression, excellent mouth, kept topline on move, legs lacking coat on the day.

 

Maiden Bitch 4-1a

1 Larchlea Let Me Entertain U

2 Sybster Spring Into Summer

 

Novice Bitch 3-1a

1 Smith’s Sybster Spring Song. Silver brindle dark mask, keen expression moved soundly, keeping topline on move.

2 Watt’s Sarachelle Golden Girl. Wheaten brindle, feminine head, level topline.

 

Graduate Bitch 3-2a

1 Jeffrey’s Sandaig Skye Song. Excellent Head, good balance and shown in full coat, level topline, sound.

 

Limit Bitch 4-1a

1 Pollocks Stanedykes Diva

Grey brindle of good size, with excellent head and typical Cairn Expression, good mouth, coat of good texture just coming in, standing well forward, no lack of brisket, good length to upper arm, correct angulation, moved with drive. B.I.S.

2 mears Stanedykes Tosca. Red brindle, same remarks apply as one very sound and showy, could swap places another day.

 

Open Bitch 2-1a

1 Jeffrey’s Sandaig Suilean Dubh. Grey in full coat. Excellent head with dark mask, small ears, set apart, mischievous expression, nicely balanced, moved soundly.
