Catherine Butterfield, Secretary of The Cairn Terrier Association, is in Scarborough Hospital recovering from a Hip replacement.

I spoke to her husband Robin this morning (Sat 22nd March). He told me that her operation on Friday had gone well and she seemed to be recovering okay. She will hopefully be transferred to Malton Hospital in a few days time, where she will be for about a week.

Tuesday 25^th March, Catherine is still in Scarborough Hospital, she is coming along OK. I suggest anyone wishing to send cards & good wishes could send them to her home address.

2-4-03    Catherine is home and although restricted, is feeling a lot better.

19/04/03 Catherine has sent me an email asking me to pass on her warm  thanks to everyone who has sent her get well messages.

She said she has been overwhelmed with people’s kindness and can’t wait to be back amongst her Cairn friends.
