Claire Weedall rang today to tell us that her mother Vera is in
Hospital recovering from a road accident. (see update below)
Vera was out exercising one of her pups (Clairevona Vibrant
Knight) on new years eve, but as she was crossing the road (via a Zebra
crossing) a taxi hit her.
She received head injuries and a fractured pelvis. Claire said
that at first Vera was unconscious and that when she came round she had
lost her memory!
But she is now gradually remembering things* and the
doctors are going to move her to an orthopaedic ward to concentrate on her
other injuries.

Apparently
the family and doctors realised Vera was on the road to regaining her
memory when she surprisingly told Claire to sort out her Crufts Entry!!!!
