Message for all Cairn exhibitors

The MCTC web team thank all exhibitors and judges for their patience during photograph sessions at the shows.  We can tell from our web counter how many of you log in following the shows, so we know that many of you are interested in learning the results and seeing the photographs and critiques.

We do appreciate how difficult it is to get your dog into a correct show pose, especially after you have put so much effort into showing your exhibit in the class.  We always try and take a few photographs of all the placings but very often the 1stprize winner may be looking good when the 2nd isn’t.  It is our aim only to put photos on the web if the dog looks good, we know how it feels if a photo is shown and your dog does not look at his or her best.  Sometimes we are lucky and the 1st and 2nd may look fine, so both exhibits will show on the photo.  Other time only the 1st prize winner may be shown. We do not discriminate on any other grounds.  Sometimes there may not be even one photograph of a class which is decent, in these cases we may substitute that class with a photograph of the exhibit taken at an earlier show.

If any of you would like us to omit or replace any of the photographs on the web with another then please e mail Brenda Shannon and she will be happy to do this for you.

To make the web page more interesting we may take other photographs at shows.  If you see any photograph on the site which you would prefer not to see, or you see us taking a photograph which you would not like the rest of the world to see, then please tell us.  The last thing we would want to do is to offend anyone!

Sometimes because of various reasons we have to call upon the services of others (Renier Goud, Roy Tester, Alison Wragg and as a really last resort Ann Wall!) to take the photographs.  We do appreciate the help given to us.

On a final note a special thank you to all the judges who have supplied the Midland with their critiques.
