Stephinson’s Double

On the 2nd February 2003 at The Sporting Terrier Association of Yorkshire Open Show held at Brodsworth Miners Welfare, Woodlands, Nr Doncaster, Janette Watt (Jancairn) from an entry of 33 (12abs) awarded BOB Cairn Terrier to Alan & Chris Stephinson’s Dog Twohoots Advent Oberon, RBOB was their Bitch Cloverbrook Noella. Best puppy was Newton’s Strathinver Red By Request.

The Sporting Terrier Association of Yorkshire hold two open shows a year scheduling all 26 Terrier breeds. Cairn Terriers usually being the top entry. Although the February show has clashed with the Southern CTC show for the last Couple of years, most exhibitors are from the North of England. The Cairn entry is still probably one of the largest at a General Canine Society open shows. The President of the Club is Alf Jennings of the Doonrae affix, with his wife Milly Jennings being our Patron.

Our next show is November 9th 2003 and the judge will be Elaine Short (Glenchess) Schedules will be available mid July from myself (The Secretary) Brenda Shannon. Email  brenndarcy@blueyonder.co.uk
