Alma Mowbray Dies

It is with sadness that I have to report the sudden death of Alma Mowbray. Alma had only been ill for a short while and was due to have further tests next week.

Alma (a retired schoolteacher) was a loyal member of the Midland Club and always exhibited at our club shows as well as most Northern Open shows. I considered Alma to be a good friend and was always taken by her knowledge of our breed. She had owned a Cairn most of her married life but only started exhibiting ten years ago, she was a true “Cairnite”.

Our thoughts and condolences go to husband Alan, son Tony and daughter Karen.
