Thank you to the Danish Terrier Club for inviting me to judge Cairns at their show on 29th April and for their generous hospitality to both Chris and myself throughout our weekend. We had excellent weather throughout our trip although it was unfortunate that I had to judge in a sports hall where the floor was not ideal and made assessing movement a little difficult. I was delighted with the quality of my BD and BB line-ups but was surprised and a little disappointed by how many dogs were lacking in depth of fore chest and having round eyes. Presentation of coats was very good. There were some very good Cairns and topping these was CALE HILL'S NORMAN whom I awarded best dog and BOB and BB was OL’KYARNROWEN’S WITH ALL MY LOVE. Ellen Julsgaard of the Cale Hill’s kennel owned both of these dogs. Thanks once again to the committee and ring stewards and of course the exhibitors!
