“I have had a look in my old books and cannot find anything to do with Gypsy Moth. Drungewick Jennifer was owned by Lady Gooch and is the dam of Ch. Drungewick Junk born 1933. I found this info. In Hutchinson's Popular & illustrated Book of the Dog and in the Cairn Compendium. There is another photo of Jennifer in the Hutchinsons Book. Mrs. Walter Hutchinson the wife of the Editor of this book owned a cairn called Sandy, and Lady Hutchinson owned one called Jock, these are also illustrated in the book. Hutchinson's Popular & Illustrated Book of the Dog, is a 3 volume set of very large books, very often they are broken up for the wonderful photographic and repro. paintings of ALL breeds of dogs, I am fortunate to have a set and find them fascinating, giving an insight into the dog world of many years ago.” |
