Judge E Heidecker (Hyde Castle)

 

 

It was an honour for me to be invited to judge this show and I enjoyed it very much.  I would like to thank my steward and Mr Peers for taking the photos. My impression was that the quality was mixed; I found some with level bites and few with sound movement.  Some of the exhibits had loose front movement but I was more than satisfied with my final winners.

 

Class 1 Veteran Dog (2,1)

1^{st  &} Best Veteran

Parker-Tuckers Uniquecottage Oyster Catcher

Congratulations to the owner of this 12 year old male, wheaten dog with beautiful head and expression, good size, excellent quality of coat.  Wonderful neck and topline, moved very well for his age.

 

Class 2 Minor Puppy Dog  (4,4)

1^st Mears Glenmear Noble Minstrel

Well constructed brindle dog with good head, excellent coat, correct topline and angulations.  A good quality coat but a little short at the moment.  Needs to mature.  Moving well.

 

2^nd Peers Tweedisle Guy Mannering

Masculine dog with good head and expression, good coat.  He is a little too tall for me.  Good coat. Movement OK.

 

Class 3 Puppy Dog (4,4)

1^st & Best Puppy Dog

Dolan & Inetts Glenrood Ice Man

Wheaten dog with beautiful head, correct size, well constructed throughout with excellent topline, good quality coat.  Moved very well which won him this class.

 

2^nd Fairweather’s Ock Little Tinker

Brindle dog of good size. Very good type with correct topline.

 

Class 4 Junior Dog (1,1)

1^st Waugh’s Tribannon Warlord

Brindle dog with very good topline, correct head and expression, good coat, needs more ring training

 

Class 5 Maiden Dog (3,1)

1^st Peers Tweedisle Guy Mannering, second in MPD

 

Class 6  Novice (4,2)

1^st Peers Tweedisle Troublemaker

Wheaten dog out of a large mould! Good topline. Harsh coat

 

2^nd Tutchings Crowneast Baron Monty

A good type, needs to improve in movement which could come with age

 

Class 7 Post Graduate Dog (5,4)

1^st, Best Dog & BIS

Graingers Devil in Disquise

Red dog with excellent head, neck and topline.  Well balanced throughout with excellent angulations. Coat in top condition.  Moved very well.  Showed very well in the challenage which won him BIS

 

2^nd & Reserve Best Dog

Sopers Uniquecottage Ring Plover

Grey brindle dog with good head and expression, good chest and correct angulations.  Moved well. Correct quality coat.

 

Class 8 Limit Dog(4,2)

1^st Hooton’s Penticharm Party Knight

Wheaten dog with very good head and expression, good size, coat soft but of excellent presentation. Moved very well which won him this class.

 

2^nd Peers Tweedisle Piper Boy

A dog from the upper size limits, needs more body throughout, beautiful head and expression, correct topline.

 

Class 9 Open (3,2)

1^st Fairweathers Ock Ross I’m The Boss

Dark brindle, correct head and expression. Of good size, well constructed, correct movement.

 

2^nd Peers Tweedisle Sweet Talking Guy

Good type, correct topline but another one from the upper size limits!  Good coat and moved well.

 

 

Class 11 Veteran Bitch (5,4)

1^stOldales Ch Tweslam Abracadabra

Dark brindle, excellent type, good size, very good coat and presented in show condition.  Handled very well.  Congratulations to her owner.

 

2^nd Fairweathers Ock Enchanted Shadow

Wheaten bitch in very good condition

 

Class 12 Minor Puppy Bitch (6, 4)

I will be interested to watch how these two develop in the future

 

1^st Peers Tweedisle Dolly Daydream

Wheaten bitch with excellent head and expression, good muscle and correct topline, moved very well.

 

2^nd Mears Glenmear Misty Moonlight

Very similar to her brother (1^st in MPD), needs time to develop. Very good topline and coat

 

Class 13 Puppy Bitch (5, 5)

 

1^st Short’s Glenchess Cut The Mustard

Red bitch with very good head and expression, enough pigment. Good coat quality, correct topline, and a sound showy bitch

 

2^nd Dolan’s Glenrood Forever Topps

Wheaten bitch with feminine head, correct topline. Good coat but needs to grow more head furnishings.  Moved well

 

Class 14 Junior Bitch (7,6)

 

1^st Thompson’s Castline Tiger Lily

Wheaten br with lovely head and correct expression, good topline and correct size.  Moved so well which won her this class.

 

2^nd Moseley’s Carradine Sapphire at Spawyche

Wheaten feminine bitch of a very good type with good neck and topline, excellent coat

 

Class 15  Maiden Bitch (4, 3)

 

1^st Dolans Glenrood Forever Popsy

Wheaten bitch, very feminine, just OK in size, correct head with good quality coat.  Needs to settle in rear movement

 

2^nd Parker-Tuckers Uniquecottage Guillemot

 

Wheaten bitch of a larger type then 1^st.  Carrying a full coat, just needs time to mature

 

Class 16 Novice Bitch (7, 3)

 

1^st Dolan’s Glenrood Black Diamond

Dark brindle bitch with very good head and expression.  Good size, very good topline.  Coat needs to grow but of correct texture.  Moved very well

 

2^nd Tweedisle Dolly Daydream -1^st MPB

 

Class 17 Post Graduate Bitch (6, 5)

 

1^st Best Bitch, RBIS & BOS Poiles Kedvaiy Can Can

Red, beautiful bitch with elegant neck and topline, very good proportions, excellent coat, moved so soundly and is very showy.  Just lost her showiness in the challenge which meant she had to be RBIS & BOS.

 

2^nd Oldale’s Cranae New Dawn

Red feminine bitch with correct head and expression, correct topline, good coat quality, moved well.

 

Class 18 Limit Bitch (2,1)

 

1^st Carradine Crème Brulee For Luvemal

Brindle bitch with feminine head and good topline.  Correct angulations. Correct coat quality, moved OK but a little wayward which lost her RBB. 

 

Class 19 Open Bitch (3,1)

 

1^st Keeves Seveek Chasing Dreams

Wheaten bitch with feminine head and expression, well balanced, she was shown in heavy coat but moved very well.

 

Class 20 Special Beginners Bitch (3,2)

 

1^st Warne’s Spirebrooke Lady Jane Enraw

A Wheaten  bitch with feminine head, very good pigmentation, correct neck and topline, very good coat quality and moved OK

 

2^nd Day’s Rekhilli Chilli Pepper at Tre-Ki

Dark brindle bitch with good head and expression, correct topline but a little heavy in coat, needs to tighten in rear movement
