Puppy Buyer Warning |

Julie Petts (Doonrae) rang me today to warn all you Cairn folks out there about some phone calls she received on Thursday night.
A rather “posh” sounding lady rang enquiring about Cairn Bitch puppies, did she have any and how much would they be, Julie said that she said hadn’t any but when told to expect to pay around £500 the lady seemed surprised, Julie then said she could probably find one cheaper but not from the sort of breeder she would recommend. The lady went on to say that she knew all about Puppy farmers as she lived in North Wales.
Two minutes after Julie put the phone down it rang again, this time a lady was enquiring about Norfolk Terriers, but Julie was sure it was the same lady, when she asked her if it was her she said no.
Ten minutes later the phone rang again and it was the first lady who said she must apologise about the mix up but her twin sister had just rung her about Norfolks by mistake and she sounded just like her?????????
The lady didn’t say were she had got Julie’s number from and although she gave a name Julie cannot remember it (she’s not too well at the moment) |
