Great News!!!!!!!!

19/04/2007 8am- Doreen Shorter rang last night to say Rosie has been returned home safe. Apparently she was handed in at a Windsor Kennels. More details when we have them. (Bet she’s grown!)

I have just spoken to Rosie’s owner and learnt of the incredible story which ended in her return home;

A Dog Warden was visiting a kennel in the Surrey area when he saw the “Dog Lost” Poster of Rosie, he said he had picked up a Cairn pup just like her the day before in A Village seven miles away. She was running loose in a garden chasing chickens and the owners had contacted the local wardens. She was at this point in Battersea Dogs home being cleaned up and registered etc..  She was then taken to a Kennel in Surrey where she was reunited with her owners.

She doesn’t seem any worse for her experience and was very pleased to see Marietta and her husband, she then went home to meet her new friend called Nell (They had been to Cornwall and bought another Cairn Pup!).

(Apparently there was a small travellers site in the area she was found and although healthy she was a little sticky and dirty)

Don’t you just love a “Happy Ending!”
