Sad News

It is with great sadness that I have to report the death of Wynn Adamson, ('LINCAIRN') a Life member of the C.T.A., and a long standing member of the Association for nearly 40 years. Wynn was a staunch supporter of the C.T.A. and in  past years she would be seen helping Thelma with the C.T.A. stall or marking catalogues.

Wynn would have been 92 years old in November and had been under the care of David Winsley and his nursing staff at St. Leonard's Hospital, Dorset for the past 2 months after suffering a fall at home, which had damaged her spine.

Philip, Mary M. and myself spent the weekend with Thelma and Audrey, as we  were down there for  Bournemouth Championship Show and on Sunday Mary and I visited Wynn in hospital.  She was quite confused and tearful, but seemed to know who we were and enjoyed the fact that Mary had taken 'Daisy' (Cairn Terrier) for her to see.

Wynn died at 1.15pm today Thursday the 17th August 2006, her sister and niece were at her bedside.

She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

The funeral will take place at 2.30pm on Wednesday 30th August at Lady St. Mary's Church,

Wareham, Dorset, followed by burial in the churchyard.
